Admit it, Secret Bases weren't meant to be too secret. Depending on personal preference, some Secret Base locations are better than others whether you base it upon the location of the base itself, the methods used to reach the base, or the internal space and appearance of the base. In my opinion, the worst place to have a Secret Base would be on Route 119 since two of the bases there require you to have a Pokémon in your party that knows Surf and Waterfall. You'll also have to navigate around on the Acro Bike. Using the time to switch out your party and your bike so that you can access a secret base in this location just seems to add a lot of unnecessary time especially if you just need to take a quick stop at the base. I personally prefer to have bases in relatively accessible areas that also have a good interior design. My favorite secret base location is on Route 120 across the reflection pool (that looks gorgeous at night). All you need is a Pokémon with surf to access it, but its still easy to spot. The internal design is long and winding, which is really unique because you can use tiles along the path that trainers have to walk across. What are some of your favorite and least favorite Secret Base locations?

The only locations I really dislike is the one that requires a HM to access. I will never like them since often I'm forced to dump one from my team in favor of a HM slave.

I guess I shouldn't mention that mine requires Surf and Dive to get to xD

Ironically, I put mine in the place that I hate the most getting to. I put it in the Firey Path.

The ones I like are the ones I can just fly to lol.

I hate the ones needing any of Rock Smash, Strength, and Dive for. I just don't feel like making the effort of having one of my Pokémon delete a TM move for one of the HMs, get to the base, then later delete the HM via Move Deletor before relearning the TM. Or I could box one of my Pokémon for an HM slave, which I kinda hate doing, especially when I'm trying to train. Pass, thanks.

I'd say my favorite Secret Base locations are the ones right next to a town or city. I have mine in the area where you find the man searching for his glasses near Verdanturf.

I don't like the small, cramped bases. The ones that come with holes and blocked paths are kind of cool since if you have the right items, they reward you with nicely sized bases, but some bases are just too small and predictable for my taste. Also, the ones that require lots of things in order to reach.

Yeah, but if your location is what I think it is, at least you can just use the Eon Flute to get there and save the team slot.

It's not on any of the Secret Shore type places.

My favorite base locations are the ones by the shore of the water. I think those are so nice because of the scenery outside. Personally, I hate Fiery Path because of how time consuming it is to get there.

I prefer Secret Bases that are easy to access, and do not require HM's to reach. Mine used to be in route 119, and mind you, it was really difficult to get to! I didn't want to give HM's to my Pokémon as I wouldn't use them often, so I just settled in the exit of Granite Cave where all you need are a few Max Repels. I just prefer to go in a Secret Base that;s easy to access and easy for people to check them out!

I like the new secret spots they have! Like the secret shore and stuff. Those places are neat and out of the way.
There's one place on route 121 or 122? Where you have to use cut, nope.

I don't mind. Getting there is an adventure in itself which I love about ORAS. Everything is still there to explore thanks to its massive seascape although Closer ones are easier to get to, even if they are quite basic.
