Favorite attack animations?

Draco meteor is awesome I also like shadow force because its actually pretty cool

 

Oh! I love Reshiram's Fusion Flare in Pokémon Black! It looks amazing and so awe inspiring and so powerful! A huge ball of red Fire!~ And then there's Reshiram's Blue Flare! Blue fire is even more beautiful!

 

Draco Meteor hands down. Just imagine the terror of meteorites crashing down on you.

 

Draco Meter is pretty cool....

But I prefer the moons more.
Moonblast and Moonlight.

Simply because I'm a space nut and I love the way the moons look. Haha.

 

Bolt Strike has always looked amazing to me.. and also Petal Blizzard guh. They're as beautiful as the name implies and I wish I were able to see more of those moves but they're not very common on opponents. ;c Also adored Diamond Storm's animation but that's slightly out of bias since I love Diancie.

 

Favorite animation of all time is Hyper Beam in RBY. The visual and sound effect of the move really did generate a feel of how powerful the move really is.

As for more modern animations, I love the Brave Bird and Play Rough animations in XY/ORAS. Very epic stuff! Draco Meteor gets an honorable mention too (both Gen V and gen VI).

 

I love Thunder, Draco Meteor and Brave Bird's animations. All of them exude enormous force and power just by their looks alone, and their looks don't lie.

 

Retaliate in gen6 looked amazing with the swift attacking and cherry blossoms effect. I also like Origin Pulse, Diamond Storm, Petal Blizzard, V-Create, Aeroblast, Magma Storm, Blue Fire, Dragon's Ascent, Aura Sphere, Extrasensory (I liked gen 3's the most), and Cosmic Power. There are probably a lot more I forgot to mention, but those are some of my favorites on the top of my head.

 

No one has said it yet, but for me it's boomburst. My second radar eggmove Pokémon in Alpha Sapphire was a Taillow who knew Boomburst and I was like "Holy Diver that is awesome! Like all who oppose me face a carpet bombing with the mighty power of concussive sound! \,,/ "

 

Ooh, I forgot about Retaliate. Also one of my favorites - it's a really awesome-looking animation. Boomburst is an animation I've hardly ever seen but looking it up now it is pretty cool, aha. And quite reliable if you were to find that hidden Taillow early on with that move. 8]

 

My Favourite Move Animation Would Be a tie Between Retaliate and Moonblast.

Retaliate in X/Y and ORAS is AMAZING In its Clip Scene Like Anmation And It Does Give Glimpse Of Old Cop movies in my Opinion.

Moonblast's Glowing Moon Animation and Attack Glow is what Caught Me the Most , I Do Enjoy That Animation Alot.

 

Retaliate for sure, it's amazing in gen 6. I also like forest's curse and origin pulse :>

 

ORAS's Flamethrower animation is pretty cool. SO is Draco Meteor and Dragon Ascent.

I always liked Gen IV's Aura Sphere too, and Gen III's Psychic.

 

The old effect for Confuse Ray was pretty trippy.

 

So many flashy lights XD

But in all seriousness, Draco Meteor, Imagine that many meteors flying towards you summoned by a dragon that is trying to kill you,or flare blitz because it looks pretty darn amazing, especially in the anime

 

Either Draco Meteor or Dragon Ascent in the new games. I also reaaalllyy loved Flamethrower in the GBA games, with a little swirly beam of fire. I also really loved Hyper Beam in pretty much all of the games. I taught it to my Flygon in ORAS just for the animation and noise.

 

My favorite animations have to be a tie between Retaliate and Moonblast. Retaliate's animation is cool, unique, and fairly beautiful. It can have mini references in its own regards too, such as old movies where a samurai finishes off his opponent in the same way (from previous knowledge). However, Moonblast is just truly so beautiful in many ways, and I've always enjoyed seeing the move go off. Being a space fan on myself, and the fact Fairy has moved into my top 5 favorite helps. Everything about it is amazing, so I would consider it a great tie to Retaliate.

 

Dragon Ascent has the best attack animation ever, hands down. Aura Sphere's animation has always been really cool, and Dragon Pulse's Gen 6 animation is just amazing. Flamethrower is another classic that I've loved over the years, as well. I like a lot of the animations that change the background a bit, or emanate some sort of glow that shows just how powerful the move is.

 

Bisharp and Gallade are my favorite attack animations. They're the same, so it makes it amazing gracefully in double battles~
