Favorite Butterfly Pokemon

Mine is Vivillion too. I've never really used the others, but vivillion's cool patterns are what tipped the scale for me.

 

I like Beautifly because it's really cute. In the anime, it was so adorable in contests.

 

I love Vivillon. It's such a diverse Pokémon with so many cool forms and patterns. It's a really nice Pokémon too with a great, simple design. Some of the colors are so awesome, especially in shiny form.

 

I have to go with Butterfree on this one. It looks pretty cool, it's one of the first Pokémon I ever had in a Pokémon game, and it learns some pretty cool moves like Psychic!

 

I really like Butterfree, but Vivillon is so special with all the different forms that I have to go with Vivillon.

 

I like Butterfree, because I used one in Fire Red once and I loved it. Its name was Lowfat.

 

I love Beautifly's design. It's really beautiful as compared to the other two imo. Yeah, beautiful Pokémon is my weakness. I would have chosen Vivillon if only I had played XY and experienced it first hand.

 

I love Beautifly! It looks adorable and it's quite useful early in the game (Well, in RSE).

I used to like Vivillon but almost every time I went on Wonder Trade I get a Vivillon. I had a box full of 'em from WT and they all had pretty much the same pattern (Either the Modern or Elegant patterns) so I got sick of them eventually

 

Vivillon. Like everyone else, the palette of patterns is what gives it that extra little boost to first place.

 

VIVILLON!!!!!! I love Vivillon just because it has all those cool patterns, and it promotes global interaction

 

Vivillon for me, definitely. Not only is it awesome with its different patterns, but it's surprisingly strong as well. I used one in a playthrough of Y once, and it kicked so much butt. Especially with Quiver Dance, that just makes it deadly.

 

Beautifly! It served me well in Sapphire when I used it for the first time and I loved it in the anime. But the choice is very hard overall since I adore the rest despite how underused they tend to be in-game. Vivillon is better moveset wise (Quiver Dance is great on it) but since I'm 99% inclined to pick favorites based on looks I'll go with Beautifly. :')

Butterfree by far. It's one of my favorite Pokémon ever, I dunno, I've just always loved it so much. <3

I would like Vivillon more, but I hate how much of a pain it is to get the kind you want; can't breed for patterns, and if you get a specific pattern in a trade, it's likely its nature/ability/IVs won't be the best, and even if they are, you can't nickname it. (and nicknaming means a lot to me)

 

I've got to go with Butterfree. I've used it the most out of the butterfly Pokémon and although it isn't magnificent in battle, it's still fun to use and I like its design the most out of the butterflies.

 

I'm personally a Beautifly guy myself... though if Volcarona was here, that'd be my one!

Yes, it's a moth, but still it's my favourite Bug type Pokémon for battling (still no Paras though... for a "shoulder-Pokémon")
I just remember having fun with Beautifly, were as I haven't had as much with the other two.

 

Beautifly, I just like the colors and it's because of the anime too.

 

i like butterfree because it is purple and proably buttery
