Favorite character in Unova?

I know a lot of people are going to agree with me, but N is a favorite of mine. He's one of the few characters in the Pokémon franchise that actually undergoes some sort of major character development. He's a really interesting guy; there's much more to him than meets the eye (hey, that rhymed).

However, due to me not wanting to be a sheep among the herd... I'll say Colress is another favorite. The guy shows a case of "good intentions with bad execution". He wants to study how to make Pokémon stronger, and thus ends up working for an organization which aims for global conquest. At least he learns his lesson in the end.

 

I think I'm going to go with Alder.

 

I like Drayden. His beard looks like the teeth of a hungry dragon. You mess with his beard, he will chomp down on you without thinking twice.

Naw I kid. He's actually pretty hardcore though. Like, I mean. Who wrestles with dragon Pokémon and doesn't die from it? Drayden can! So he has my vote for most Bad ass Awesome dude in the Unova land.

 

I'm going to go with the masses of people in the Pokémon community and say N.
But hear me out. I genuinely like his character. I feel like he's the first one to get a good story going, and it crosses real world issues (animal abuse and cruelty) and gives us an insight on how those people might think. Now, of course, not all of these people are abused and brainwashed by their sadistic stepdad, but I digress. He added a real story to Pokémon and gave people something to think about, I like his relationship with the player, too. Instead of screaming his beliefs in your face like previous villians, he tries to befriend you. He is genuinely disappointed when he finds out you don't agree with his ideals, and he steps down fairly when you defeat him. He's the only antagonist with a good heart.
Plus, his music is some of the best in the series in my opinion.

 

I liked N for a lot of the reasons given, however he was not my favorite. I pretty much liked everyone who was said, but I think Bianca and Cheren are my top picks. I liked that whole friendship theme that the two of them had, and the contrast they created to each other.

Plus between BW and BW2 Cheren lost glasses and Bianca gave them, so I like the statement that was going around that Cheren gave his glasses to Bianca.

 

My favorite Unova Character would have to be Hugh from B2/W2 His character was very annoying at time but when it came back to it,he was fighting to get a Pokémon back that meant alot to him and his sister. Anyone who has the guts to go against an evil organization to get 1 Pokémon back earns a spot as my favorite.

 

Agreed with Blaze, Hugh is one of my favorite Unova characters. Id also say Corless, but its been said.
My favorites, though, are the Shadow Triad! So badass

 

Honestly... Probably N.

- He was by far the best antagonist who ever hit the face of Pokémon. Giovanni came close, but he wasn't as good a character as N.
- He brought up something that a lot of Pokémon fans did. He said that Pokémon battles were cruel. Who hasn't seen those memes that say stuff like, "If Pokémon were real it would bring new meaning to animal cruelty".
- He had a past that made sense.

N for starters. He's the first character to ever have some sort of development, and he has an actual plot behind him.

Then there's Colress. So far, all the antagonists of the Pokémon series are just bent on doing what they want, and they come across in such a way that absolutely forbids the player from sympathising with them because they make a point about how crazy they are. Colress, on the other hand, speaks sense. You can understand his motivations because they are backed by legitimate reasoning and logic. This is what makes a good villain.

 

Shadow Triad. Period. No doubting about that!

 

Drayden and Colress. I think it's pretty cool to be old and still be kicking butt with your dragon Pokémon, that's why I like Drayden. As for Colress, he's intelligent and I like his sense of mystery. N is a well-rounded character and I feel many people like him because they can relate to him, so he'd be a close third.
