Favorite Character?

I really like N. His story was just really interesting. I also really liked Cheren in Black 2. I liked how he just constantly showed up in-game.

 

Surprisingly, I found Giovanni to be pretty interesting. No other villian is also a Gym Leader on the side, which I found to be a pretty cool twist when I first played the game.

 

I love N as a character, he reminds me a lot of myself. I especially liked his story in the original BW games, where he starts out as a 'bad guy' but it turns out he was just being used by Ghetsis- it was different, but excecuted very well. I don't like how some of his fans seem to portray him as this extremely romanticized character. To me, he seems kind of awkward, and not all that great with people. It's obvious he prefers the company of Pokémon to the company of humans- I doubt he would even know what to do in a romantic situation, haha.

But anyway, I really like his backstory and his character. He's very unique compared to most other Pokémon characters, and I find that very interesting.

 

I only realized who my favorite character was until a few days ago when I was playing b2...
It was late at night and I got to the part when ghetsis fused zekrom and kyurem. Then N came out of nowhere. His speech was interesting then it hit me.... N is a really amazing character and he contributes a lot to the plot. Later I started thinking how N would fit into my Oc's storyline then realized that I was blushing.....
Yeah Yeah I know it sounds strange but he has a real way of tugging on your emotion strings.

I am not sure who my all time favorite character is...
But I do have to say, that the characters I seemed to like most, and still like even to this day (since 12 years of age)... are Giovanni and Tracey.

Giovanni, I always thought he was so evil and cool sounding. Loved his original voice <3 I know he hasn't really done anything spectacular recently, other than popping up in James, Jessie, and Meowth's imaginary "what if I did this, what would Giovanni do?" day dreams. But he still just seems really cool. Probably because hes like a mob-boss or something. IDK. Or maybe it's because I always seem to gravitate over to villains being my favorite characters.

As for Tracey, I thought he was an interesting character because, out of all the other trainers Ash has met; he seemed to have a hobby outside of Pokémon training. He drew. I always thought it was rather interesting twist to the normal, mundane Pokémon trainer that Ash befriended. All of them only seemed to have one hobby and that was to become an ultimate trainer of some sort.. Grant it, he's helping Professor Oak on being an aid, and all, but it's still a nice little twist that strayed from the normal friends Ash made.

He is cool and smart but not the typical anti-character

 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE N! I know he is a well loved character, but he is just one of those characters. One of those characters that no matter what, no matter what happens, I love him.

I really love Gary Oak too. xD

 

My favorite character is easily N. He has a good back story that actually explains his character and he was one of the few people you ever saw in the games that actually learned from having made the mistake of being in the evil team he was in. Of course, they just used him, but he was still the only one who learned something. He's by far the deepest character that's been introduced to the series. Before N it was more simple. Catch your Pokémon, battle the gym leaders, beat the generic evil team, and win. That was it. Now with N brought in, you were forced to question the entire point of Pokémon, which was interesting.

 

N's pretty awesome, hands down, so I won't really talk about him much. Now, I really really really LOVE Gold from the PokeSpe manga. Ugh, I was annoyed at first that they changed Red to Gold as the protag but now I love him to bits. He has so many character flaws (his hot headedness, his gambling issues, his ego, his perverted nature when looking at girls...the list is pretty large) but he's awesome because of that. He's a flawed character that just wants to get better. His Pokémon team is also really cool. Ugh, I really love that bastard.

For a female character, I really love Yellow from the PokeSpe manga as well. The manga has so many awesome characters that I am just tempted to list all of them here. XD Yellow is such a sweet and kind character. She tries really hard and you can't help but want to help her out. She really cares for her mons and is not afraid to stand by her beliefs. Her cross dressing part really appealed to me. I love a good cross dresser. XD

 

Lance. I like Lance. Spiky red hair, dragon tamer, ya know?

 

I love N he is kind of nice to you in BW and turns out to be this awesome guy who has the opposite legendary to you! I love the battles with him too
