Now don't spew off random names until you really know when the classical period was. The time period includes anywhere from 1730 to 1820, so it doesn't include a lot of "classical" composers.

Anyways, who is your favorite classical composer? Why? Favorite piece by them if any?

Joseph Haydn is probably my favorite and I don't really have a reason why. I don't really have a favorite piece from him either, I just like his music.

even though he was later, Johann Strauss II is one of my favourites. I don't have many from the actual era because Vivaldi barely fits it

(did you make this just for me Prosecutor, i love classical music)

I've always loved Chopin, particularly with his work Nocturne op.9 No.2.
Most of his work is so relaxing and the harmonies he puts together are absolutely beautiful. You can really hear the emotion and although it's all up to perspective, his technique is amazing. It's no wonder why he's still known today as one of the most leading musicians of his era.

    Ludwig von Koopa van Beethoven.

It's hard coming up with a favorite classical piece. Everything he composed was pure genius.

Beethoven for sure. Moonlight Sonata, Fur Elise, and the 5th are all rad.

But in all seriousness, Johann Christian Bach. Youngest son of Johann Sebastian Bach, and I feel he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. I love how he chose not to compose Baroque style music like the rest of his family, and instead did something completely different; Galante, practically the opposite of Baroque.

    Chopin~
I think it's due to Fantasie Impromptu Op.66 in C-sharp minor.
Of course there's the Raindrop Perlude,Op.28 in D Flat, I guess.

I guess I like him the most is because he's relaxing, and sets you off to a better mood than before. Or something like that.

To this day, I still don't know how to pronounce Chopin's name, if it's "Sho-pan" or "Chop-in". The world may never know.
