Favorite cross-generational evolution in G/S/C?

Steelix, no question. It's just such a cool Pokémon, I remember being blown away back when I was young and saw it for the first time. My very first forum ever was an old Pokémon one, and my username was GOLDENSTEELIX (yes, all caps) and my first real e-mail address had 'steelix208' in it. It's still one of my favorites.

 

Scizor. I just genuinely appreciate that Pokémon's existence, and it's pretty cool all around, especially considering Scyther was good enough to be a stand alone Pokémon.

 

Kingdra is so cool, I think I've already talked about it today. I love the whole line, and the sick typing it gets.

Honourable mention to Steelix, Scizor and Slowking!

 

I voted Scizor. Porygon2 was something else. "Congratulations! Your Porygon evolved into the same freaking thing!"

 

Easiest choice ever. Scizor.

 

Scizor was an epic evolution! I loved its design so much! I remember when i got the metal coat going through so much trouble to get a scizor as a kid! Easy Choice! Scizor FTW

 

Crobat, definitely!
I wasn't a big fan of the Zubat line before Crobat came around and seriously redeemed the whole Zubat family in my eyes.

Although Espeon/Umbreon were cool since they utilized the day and night system to evolve and sort of paved the way for Eevee to get a dozen new evolutions, haha.

 

Since the Eeveelutions were included I voted for my favorite Pokémon, Umbreon. However, if we were to exclude that wonderful creature from the mix, I would probably go with Scizor.

 

Espeon. I love using it, I love it's cry, and I love it's design.

Definitely Espeon. Kingdra would be my second favorite. Scizor seems cool but I haven't used it.

 

Slowking and I think you already know the reason

 

Crobat by far!! It made the once lame Zubat and ok-ish Golbat cool again!

 

Crobat. It has a very high speed, which can be a good advantage in battles. Plus, I feel Zubat needs more than one evolution.

 

Espeon, Umbreon and Scizor!

 

Crobat and Steelix for me. Most people hated Zubat, then when it evolved they hated it even more but when it evolved once more, they received a decent and cool-looking bat Pokémon. Steelix just screams awesome. I love its name and for me Onix looked kind of old in the face so seeing Steelix really improved my opinion of it.

Other notable but equally cool Pokémon were Kingdra, Scizor and Slowking.
