What's your favorite manga genres? Any recommendations from those genres?

For me, I'm a complete shoujo and romance junkie. I just love the plots and heartfelt moments. I love them so much. For me, I love Ao Haru Ride, highly recommend it for all you other shoujo romantics.

Pretty much Action Manga with a lot of fighting, exploration and drama too. That's probably why I love One Piece and Bleach Manga so much.

For shounen manga, action for sure. Romance is a nice touch (which is one thing I really like about Rave Master and Fairy Tail), but it isn't necessary. For shoujo manga, definitely romance, though "pseudo-shounen" (as I call it) like Akatsuki no Yona and Donten ni Warau are good too. (And mahou shoujo is awesome ofc.) For both, fantasy or supernatural; with shoujo I can tolerate slice-of-life better, but I do prefer things like magic or spirits or demons or whatever.

As for recommendations, I'll just go with the two demographics (shounen and shoujo).

Shounen: Fairy Tail (and three of its spinoffs), Noragami, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Shokugeki no Soma (not fantasy but it is fucking good), Rave Master, Nanatsu no Taizai (I have not read the manga but love the anime so the manga should be good), and Bakuman (I honestly prefer this over Death Note).

Shoujo: Blue Mistral (another Fairy Tail spinoff), Akatsuki no Yona (like with NnT, haven't read the manga but love the anime), and Kitchen Princess.
