I'm wondering, what are you guys' favorite signature style? I mostly do smudge and C4D with anime renders, but I've been trying to do more regular cartoon/animated character/real life rendered sigs. What about you?

    Grunge for lifezzz. *Ahem* sorry

I usually go to town with a bunch of different brush sets. Most are either grunge/rust or splatter brushes. If I'm working in Photoshop, I'll bust out a special smudge set I have.

I'm adverse to using c4ds myself, so when I see people post epic smudge / liquidified styled works, I tend to pounce on them. :)

I personally like taking/drawing a render and finding a suitable background for it, then using different brushes and effects to make them blend better. I also use a filter that I downloaded called Topaz Clean 3, which can help smooth out rough edges and make the signature look cleaner. For borders, I usually use a 3-part border, with two dark single-pixel lines and one light single-pixel line in the center of the two. It creates a nice, clean look without being too obtrusive.

I also like messing around with a bunch of different kinds of text styles, but I mostly like using text that is set to Overlay or some sort of transparency, so parts of the background can be seen through it. I'm always mixing up my text styles depending on the signature, haha.

I use textures as you guys can probably tell. I just spam textures and call it a day lol. I use c4ds sometimes, but I'm not too good at that.

I love vibrant signatures. I'm actually trying to work on making some that look amazing. I love colorful signatures and I honestly love to go crazy with different effects like C4Ds.

I really like signatures that stand out in some way. The ones that are just a little bit different in some way really appeal to me the most. But then again, I can't make signatures myself, so I'm always happy with whatever I receive when I ask for a signature xD
