Favorite Gym Leader in Kanto?

Giovanni. Part time Gym Leader, part time Rocket Boss, full time badass.

 

Definitely Giovanni, it was such a plottwist that he is a gym leader.

Giovanni, yeah. Who didn't love finding out you'd have to fight him yet again as a gym leader, yeah?

 

I'm going to have to go with a common opinion, it seems.

Definitely Giovanni. He was just too involved with the plot to ignore.
Though Erika comes as a close second, only because of the old man outside her gym.

 

Misty. Just because she's a Water-type gym leader.
Second would be Blaine, then Giovanni

Sabrina, especially after seeing how psychotic she is in the anime. Such a creepy figure, can't help but love her

 

Erika! I admit I had a crush on her when I was a kid lol.

 

I have to go with Giovanni here. He had a job outside of his gym before it was cool xD Even though that job was running the local maffia group, whatever, still cool!

 

Mine was Giovanni for a favorite, Blue was a second favorite.

 

I would go for Erika in FRLG. Her strategies are really good and she's so sweet. ^^

I'd give it to Misty in HGSS though. Her redesign and teams are better in my opinion.

 

Jasmine, the Steel-Clad Defense Girl. I like the contrast between her simple and quiet outward appearance and demeanour and her preference for rough and tough Steel-type Pokémon. This also shows in her personality, where underneath her reserved and compassionate front lies determination and resolve as hard as steel.

Ooooops mistaken Kanto for Johto. My bad. ><

I like Brock. He's the very first Gym Leader that the player faces to see if you really are the Pokémon trainer you claim to be, and to see if you're ready for tougher challenges ahead. All adventures truly begin by clearing the first hurdle!

 

Erika! I love her , she uses grass Pokémon and her kimono designs looks awesome .

 

Giovanni because he is the boss of one of the coolest evil organization in the games also because he is a bad ass

 

...Koga was my favourite. Even though I hated fighting him cause his Pokémon were kinda tanky and the poison was annoying, he had a really cool gym and he was (well, still is) a freaking ninja! Also, Koga once started me down a vendetta against all the Muks in the world... Until I saw the Moemon Muk (not the new one though).

 

Blaine. "You better have Burn Heal!" I like the fact that he's just some old man researcher dude who's just chillin' as a gym leader on a volcanic island.

 

Hmm, well Blaine is my favorite character of them all (except Misty), but just based on the remake games, I like Erika. She has a pretty gym, a calm personality, and I really do like grass types. Plus that old man outside her gym... lmao. I love how in the remakes they changed that man's dialogue to be less... creepy. hahah

 

I actually really like Giovanni. He's just a really good gym leader!
