Favorite Hoenn NPC?

    It's been a while since we've all been back in Hoenn, so who is your favorite character if it has changed? Do you like their new design? Any specific reason they stick out to you?

    I think my favorites are Wally,Wallace, Brendan and the new Lissi. Wally's personality is shown a lot clearer in this remake and his expressions change to show his growth as a person. I really love his new design and character development!

    Brendan is just spunky and cute. I like his energy and enthusiasm with the player throughout the game. Never change Brendan!

    Wallace just appears really outgoing and audacious to me. As silly as his new outfit looks it just suits him absolutely perfectly.

    Lissi is a nice new add to Hoenn, I loved her design before I even knew her name and I'm certain I'll be drawing her in the future. She's so peppy and somehow not annoying as many characters with similar personalities from other games and such appear. I hope to see more of her!

    I love the random guy who says "Lissi, you can scout me to be your next boyfriend!" or the Ace Trainer that turns in to Hiker when you take away his Float stone. It made me laugh so hard.

    I like Shelly. Her redesign is amazing, I love it so much!

    I like Brendan and Wally too, I like seeing how confident Wally grows over the course of the game!

    Probably archie, this time around he's a little more expressive, he still has an intimidating presence but is kind of funny, almost like he respects you and you two are friends. Archie don't give a shit really.

    Also may, she's even more outgoing and expressive this time, and still gives you a bunch of stuff.

    I love the guy in Mauville Hills who says "I'm a nobody" along with the 5 colorful men you find in the Mauville Pokémon Center.

    Steven I feel with this remake his character grew more unique and interesting than the original, The touch with Mega Metagross was awesome too almost lost to steven because of that.

    I've only reached Fortree, but I think my favorites so far are Wally and Flannery.

    Wally is so adorable, and I like his character development already. At first, he seems so shy and frail.

    Flannery was just really silly, and made me smile. Even gym leaders are only human ♥

    I haven't obtained my first badge yet but want to say that Wally is so insanely cute this time around. He looks like a six year old who just hopped out of bed and went out in his PJs. Definitely one of my favorites so far! <3

    Lisia and Wally are so adorable, omg. I really wish I could do more with the former, especially since I beat her in a Contest and don't really plan on doing Contests much anymore. Wally got a lot better; he makes the most adorable expressions. Sort of wish he appeared more than Brendan/May, though, orz

    Also really liking Courtney; she's cute in a weird sort of way.

    I adore Wally; his character development and various expressions throughout the game - adorable.

    I also like Phoebe's design (this is obvious what with my icon being a recoloured version of her XD)

    The dude in the post game who says sometimes you have to use strong Pokémon to win and not just your favorites. Usually Pokémon games tell you to use your favorites but this guy says the opposite and quite frankly, whether you like it or not, he's right.

    I love Wally. He turned from a timid little shrimp into a powerful little monster. I also love how he struggled through a tough time in his life and Pokémon helped him out. That's actually my story too :).
