Favorite/Least Favorite Starter Pokemon

Everyone is hating on treecko and tepig but when fully evolved and well trained they are power houses.
As for me, I dont dislike any of them but here is my opinion:
Kanto:
Charmander and bulbasaur are my strongest kanto Pokémon but I personally think squirtle is the cutest.
Johto:
Cyndaquil for sure one of my favorite starters.
Hoenn:
Treecko is my speed demon, mudkip and torchick my power Pokémon.
Sinnoh:
Piplup and chimchar for power.
Unova:
OSHAWOTT!

my favorite is a toss up between mudkip and turtwig. i love the secondary ground type. my least favorite has to be chikorita i never liked it. also i'm not a very big fan of any of the gen 5 starters too much. i would like emboar but i'm really getting sick of the fire/fighters.

 

Favorite = Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mudkip, Turtwig
Least = Chikorita, Piplup, Tepig, Oshawott

I'm indifferent to the Gen I starters. They're too precious to hate ^^;;

 

Favorite: Snivy and all of it's evolutions

Least Favorite: Tepig's Evolutions (namely: Pignite and Emboar) They look horribly ugly... but Tepig's okay.

 

Favorite: Squirtle
Least Favorite: Tepig

 

I've thought about it without bias, and I've concluded that Chikorita is my favourite, simply because it was the first Pokémon I ever had. It was an accidental choice, since I was going to choose the water starter.

My least favourite is Oshawott, because while its second-phase evolution looks alright and seems to be heading towards a cool theme, the final evolution just bins that and becomes more of an animal than a samurai. Such a disappointment.

 

My favorite starter is Cyndaquil, it's so cute!!!! and typhlosion is strong. My least favorite is Tepig, I'm just not a fan of it.

 

I'm honestly fond of all starters, they're wonderful. Can't quite decide which would be my favorite. I always stick to the reptiles so it's a tough choice.
As for the least favorite one, it's cyndaquil. It's a cool Pokémon and all, but from all the starters I find it the least appealing. It's also the only one I've never used in-battle or well, for anything.
Oh and fennekin. We'll see if the evolutions will make me like it, but so far I'm really not enjoying it's presence.

 

Favorite: Obviously Torchic but i love mudkip as well
Least Favorite: Chickorita..i mean come on

 

My favorite would probably be either Cyndaquil or Charmander... it'd be difficult to choose one over the other, honestly. I always favor the fire types as starters, and these designs appeal to me, so~

Least favorite is probably Piplup, sadly. I like penguins and Empoleon is very dapper, but overall I never particularly enjoyed using or looking at that line of Pokémon. :c

 

Cyndaquil's pretty useful during the story line of the Jhoto games, and competitively, you can't ignore that Typhlosion is the fastest natural user of Eruption (Heatran only gets it from an event), and access to a 30% flinch move, Extrasensory, isn't bad.

Plus, he's not Fire/FIghting.

As for mine, it's obviously Cyndaquil, but Chikorita is a close second!
My least favourite is Chimchar (though I like Infernape) and Tepig's evos.

 

Chikorita's my absolute favorite~ XD Snivy's a close second (Serpirior so beautiful!). Tbh, I love all grass starters (the least of them is Turtwig).

The starter I hate the most...Totodile. Never really liked the water starters either (except for Piplup. I like that guy).

 

I have a tradition of choosing the Grass Starters on my first run-through of each game, so they're the most comparable for me.

Favorite - Snivy - I have no idea why... I've played at least one game from every gen, but somehow the Unova grass starter really stood out as one I liked... Could it be because my friend from across the street, "NO WAY!" said the person in the background, named it Quintin? xD

Least Favorite - Probably Torchic. I said this on another thread, but I really don't like Blaziken. It's the only starter that I don't like the design of... The big fire/fighting bird thing just doesn't appeal to me I guess...

 

Favourite is cyndaquil, least favourite is probably chimchar

 

Favorite starter would either be Totodile or Empoleon (can't really decide because I like all Water type starters). Totodile is a crocodile whereas Empoleon is a badass penguin.
Least favorite would probably be the whole Snivy line. Although I like snakes in general, I just can't their designs and plus I find them a bit overrated. Also, Snivy is my least favorite Unova Pokémon.

 

Treecko would be my favourite starter... I would have to say that turtwig is the my least favourite cause it's ugly.

 

I've got a pattern when I play the games: start with Grass, then next play through I pick Fire. Guess I tend to like Grass starters the best. Sadly, not a fan of the water starters.

-Favorite starter: This was super hard, but I'm going with Bulbasaur. Used to love him in the anime (Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden especially), and I chose him in Red. I love how he's part Poison and can learn Leech Seed and the status Powders. It's pretty cool how the bulb blossoms as he evolves too. I've got a soft spot for Venasaur, even though he's kind of ugly.

-Least favorite: Chimchar. I know Infernape is pretty awesome, but I'm just not a big fan of monkeys.

And aww, poor Chikorita! I chose her in Silver, and she was pretty awesome. Meganium was kind of "meh" to me, but I loved Bayleaf's design.

Least Favorite: Treecko

 

I like all of them, but the one I like most is Charmander, just because it was my very very very very first Pokémon.

 

Mudkip is my favorite, he's cute at the start and awesome at the end. Only having one weakness is a plus too, and he was my first starter so call me nostalgic blind. Oshowatt is a close second, (love the samurai influence) but at the end of the day he seems more difficult to train and work with, still love him to death though.

My least favorite goes right to turtwig, hes just never been appealing to me. His design just reminded me of a squirtle meets bulbasaur mix. Torterra's speed is also ridiculously slow, hes slower than chimchar, that fact alone is what made beating my rival so easy. One strong super effective hit and hes out.
