Favorite/Least Favorite Starter Pokemon

Bulbasaur is my favorite, it looks so cute, and it's very fun to use.

As for my least favorite, Piplup; because I used it once, and didn`t like it because of Empoleon typing.

 

Favorite: Squirtle was, is and will always be my favorite starter. I love everything about this guy and the evolutions are just amazing. He is very cute ^^ Second place is Chespin. First time when I love the grass starter more than the water one. It's so cute and so adorable and Quilladin and Chesnaught are awesome!! Mudkip is very close to Chespin. I like it very much, it's one of my favorite water types Pokemons and the one I chose in Emerald and will choose in the next R/S/E remake.

Least: Hmm... I don't really like Cyndaquil. I mean it's not like I have something against him but he is pretty plain. However, Typholosion is cool. Tepig is cute, but I can't say the same for his evolutions. Froakie is ugly. But Greninja has a pretty neat design ^^

 

Now that G6 is out, I have to say, my favorite, is Bulbasaur o 3o.
Look at the cute little derpy face! xD
And his mega looks really cool imo. o uo.

Least favorites are the last 3 gen Fire starters Chimchar, Tepig and Fennekin. Fire lost its magic..

 

My favourite is a toss-up between Squirtle and Totodile. I'm a big fan of water-type starters and their evolutionary lines are pretty awesome. Any Pokémon with cannons on it's back has my attention.

Least favourite would have to be Oshawott or Turtwig. Oshawott reminds me of an ice-cream cone but it's evolutions are great. I don't really like what they did with Grotle and Turtwig but Torterra makes up for that.

 

Favorite: All 2 gen starters.
Least favorite: Chespin, i don't hate him. But, I don't like 2nd evolution of him.

 

Favorite:
It's a tie between the cute sea-otter (Oshawott, Dewott, Samurott) and the cute fox (Fennekin, Braixen, Delphox) - I'm probably going more and more towards Fennekin as my favorite of all starters.

Least Favorite:
It will forever remain Piplup & Torchic, I just can't stand any kind of bird-based Pokémon (such horrible annoying memories made me hate all of them).

 

Favorite: OSHAWOTT FOR THE WIN. He was my very first starter and I loved him sooo much!

Least Favorite: Uh...gonna go with a tie between Chikorita and Snivy. Chikorita IS pretty cute and all, but its stats are really low, and I feel it's too defensive. Snivy is just ugly and overrated. Ew.

 

My all time favorite starter would be the Chikorita line, specifically Bayleef. It was my first starter, and I stopped its evolution at Bayleef cause I really liked its design and cry.

My least favorite starter would be Turtwig. Another grass type, I know. I had lots of trouble with Turtwig in Platinum. It's design is fine, but I lost to it just too many times.

 

I feel like I'm the only person here that actually likes Tepig. :|

Least favorite starter would be...Chimchar. I'm just not a fond of monkey Pokémon.

 

My most favorite is Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Oshawott and all the Kalos starters.

My least favorite is probably Bulbasaur. Although I did choose him in Y, he can't learn a lot of tm's and I heard he's not really that impressive in battle.

 

Chikorita is my least favourite starter. It just doesn't work for me. It looks silly and it gets bad moves. :v

Chimchar is my favourite though. Gen VI represent. (Y)

 

Although I hate Venusaur (I have bad memories of it), and Emboar and Torterra have already been mentioned, my least favorite starter is:
Samurott.
Notice how I said Samurott, not Oshawott. I like Oshawott, it's a cute little thing, and it has a little shell. And then it evolves into Dewott, cool, larger, looks like an evolution of Oshawott! And then it evolves again andOHMYGOD IS MY GAME HACKED?
This was my reaction why I saw Samurott. It doesn't look like it's prevolutions at all! It's a total different thing! And I don't like that at all.

Favorite starter is Serperior, but Blastoise is still cool

 

I can't decide what my favorite would be..either Cyndaquil, Snivy, Fennekin, or Oshwatt..I like them all.
Least favorite..would probably be Chimchar..cause I don't like monkeys..or Chespin..cause I don't like how it looks or the way it looks when it evolves either. I'm not a fan of it but I understand why other people would love it

 

I decided to update my likes when Gen 6 came out (haha, so late).

I still have a soft spot for Chikorita but Chespin now has taken the spot for my favorite starter. Chespin's an adorable little babu, Quilladin is just a cute little dork, and Chesnaught is cool (my knight! XD). I just wished Chesnaught had more green in its design.

Actually, I really love Gen 6's set of starters, now that I think about it.

My least favorite is still Totodile. I'm still not that a big fan of water types. Feraligatr is just...

 

Favorite: Torchic or Mudkip, I love both them and their lines!
Least Favorite: Definitely Chikorita. I really don't like it. Ugh.

 

I have a lot of favorites, but I'd probably have to choose Torchic as my top. Blaziken is a little over-rated (not as much as Charizard though), but can still be really powerful when trained properly. Blaziken has always been attached with the part of my childhood with Pokémon in it, since the first game I ever actually played myself was Ruby, which I always chose Torchic on since little me thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. Torchic is still pretty cute, I have to admit. Piplip isn't that bad either, you can tell I like adorable Pokémon.

Least favorite? Honestly I never liked Cyndaquil that much, and I don't like Froakie's design at all (but Greninja seems okay). So I guess between them? It also seems that Chespin was just made because they needed another Grass-type starter. I don't really see the interest put into him.

 

Favourite is Chikorita. Worth a few nostalgia dollars but also because Meganium is useful and you can run different sets off him.

Least favourite is Oshawott. For two stages his line seemed to be going for some kickass water samurai bu then cops out and gives you some blue lion with 'swords' on its arms. Splendid.

 

W-well..I'd had to say that one of my favorite starter Pokémon would have to be Squirtle. ;w;
