The title makes it sound like the legendaries are in some sort of boy band or something. No, but really, what is your favorite legendary group (ex; the eon duo, the legendary birds, the mew duo, etc) and if so, why? Do you like their aesthetics? What they represent? Note: this isn't about the individual legendary Pokémon- just their group!
I've always liked the three legendary beasts. They feel the most like guardians than any of the other legendary Pokémon. I also really like their backstory, and they just feel really mythical.
I like the beast trio too, but my favourite group has got to be the creation trio. This is probably because I vividly remember watching the Gen 4 movies as a kid and thinking how cool the legendary dragons were, especially Giratina who is one of my favourite legendaries to this day. I really love their designs. Sure they are kinda odd looking I guess, but that's what makes them so appealing to me.
I've always quite liked Reshiram and Zekrom. They have cool designs, if not a tad bit too complicated, their status is great, and they're just really powerful guys. Kyurem is a bit of an oddball, but I guess he's all right too.
My favorite is probably the XYZ trio. They have such a consistent design and fit so well together, and even their shinies match: something you can't say for the non-Primal weather Trio. Plus their theme has a nice symmetry to it: creation, destruction, and zero/reset/average/sustaining. I think it's a really well-executed concept. Apart from that, Reshiram and Zekrom are beautifully made, though I become less and less of a fan of Kyurem the more I see it. I respect Kyurem as being an appropriate type to counter high-energy electricity and fire, while also rounding out the usual video-game trio of elements, but I generally don't like the Pokémon itself. Back to the ones I do like, I think they do an excellent job of depicting yin and yang as opposing-yet-complementary forces with an ace design.

The beasts are my favorites. Of all of the groups, they're definitely the most aesthetically pleasing across all three of them and I love their backstory too. It's probably because of the beasts that I like the justice trio+Keldeo as much as I do, since they're kind of similar. The Tapus are pretty cool too. Tapu-Koko is undeniably the best design-wise, but I like the others too.
