Favorite Legendary Pokemon?

The old classic Mewtwo. Mewtwo was such a big deal back in the day and that feeling never really left for me. I also find it an all around great Pokémon to use, it's one of the few legendaries I actually will use in a team.

 

kyogre is one of my faves as well as mew, for the same reason doima loves mewtwo. it was always such a huge deal when i was a kid and so mew has always been kind of special to me.

 

Genesect is cool because of its design and typing, so it really resembles Scizor. Being of its species, it's probably related to it, too. Also, its Pokédex entries say that it was around 300 million years ago, and the only other Pokémon that dates back so far is Kabutops. Both are also known for being great hunters, so they could have been really closely related back then.

My other favourites are the first two elemental trios, Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno; Suicune, Entei and Raikou. Both dart around the Kanto and Johto regions respectively, and both trios are headed by one of the guardians, Ho-oh and Lugia. That's a fair bit interesting.

 

I really like Suicune. I don't even know why, I just do.
But if someone came and told me Suicune's supossed to be male, then it simply wouldn't be the same... (I do know it's genderless, but, nobody will say Mewtwo or Groudon are female, right?)
Deoxys would be my second choice, closely followed by Victini. Deoxys' theme is really nice, and I like the fact that it's an alien lifeform. And why I like Victini would take a little of explaining and I'm lazy.

I'm actually not too fond of legendary Pokémon. They are kind of a chore, a fun chore, but they never see any use at all other than providing me with bragging rights.

 

Mewtwo for sure. The most badass Pokémon out there, with the best story, both in the movie (which btw is the only one i know of that lines up with, is hinted in, and furthers the anime's story), and in the games, because its hinted all over rather than thrown in your face like every main legendary since. His story is one you must piece together through the games events, hints in places like cinnibar, and Team Rockets actions ... Plus hes just generally awesome.

 

This is a hard question! I've always had favourites but they always seem to vary as each new generation gets release. Like, back in the day I was really fond of Lugia but also the three legendary dogs! UGH THEY ARE JUST SO MYSTERIOUS I CAN'T NOT HAVE THEM HIGH UP. -conflicts-

Overall, I'd probably have to say Latias though. I absolutely loved the setting of the fifth movie and Latias had just such a distinct personality.

Entei has to be high up there though because man, dat 3rd movie. I feel like it was one of the more dark Pokémon tales that has been released.

Shaymin. Not only did I like the movie it appeared in but I liked Shaymins voice actor.

I think Legendaries lost a bit of weight with me as there are now SO MANY. Legends are supposed to be rare, and we have like 30 different ones now. I don't get it (From a Nintendo point of view its totally understandable, though)

I'll take a proper legend, Articuno. It was always an adventure to try and find it, moreso to catch it (When I was 8, anyway).

 

My Favorite Legendary ever is Probably Between Suicune and Registeel I have always loved those two Pokémon since I was little and I even have plushies of them XD

 

Reshiram... because of it's cool design as well as it's stats.

 

SHAYMIN FTW! I am so obsessed with shaymins they're my second favorite Pokémon overall. He combines two of my favorite three types and bosses things up with serence grace

 

I am a HUGE fan of Lugia! I personally think the whole "Guardian of the Seas" thing seems like a step towards Greek/Roman mythology in favor of Poseidon, or Neptune.
However, I do feel that in order to progress fast enough you have to have a legendary on your team, regardless of what kind it is. It's high level when you catch it and absolutely dominates everything that doesn't have a type advantage over them (and in some cases it doesn't really matter.)

I also really liked Zekrom's and Kyurem's designs, stats, and moves, but more so Kyurem because you really have to go out of your way to get to him.
Zekrom, I feel, is kind of a cop-out of a legendary because you end up having to catch him anyway in order to progress in White. A legendary, to me, has to have some sort of rarity to it, but when almost every Pokémon player has one it kinda loses that value.

 

My personal favorites are Ho-oh, Suicune, and Articuno. I like Reshiram as well, but I feel like it's a bit of a cop-out, like what Pie said.

I chose Ho-oh because, well, it's a freaking PHOENIX. Can't get much better than that, right?

I love Suicune's design; it seems more free and slightly frilly compared to the Entei and Raikou. If someone told me it was supposed to be a guy, though, I'd punch them in the face.

As for Articuno, I just had to choose one of the three birds. I started with FireRed, and Articuno was a primary member of my team, so I feel connected to it.

 

Ah my favorite legendaries are Latias, Mew, Lugia, and Articuno. But If I had to choose one, I'd say Latias. I loved her in the movie, she had a distinct personality and was super cute

 

Rayquaza, it's a sky dragon and it's green (favorite color). Not to mention it was one of those Pokémon I liked when I was getting back into the series. I also like Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, the Latis and Ho-Oh.

 

I just love Victini! ♥ Its small,cute and powerful! And it has a very sad story .o.

 

I've always been fond of Mewtwo and Lugia. However, Lugia is not an entirely unique Pokémon. I love them both, but if I had to pick a truly one-of-a-kind Legendary Pokémon, I'll go with Mewtwo.
