I know plenty of people have seen a musical artist perform in concert or have watched some performances on TV before. What's your favorite live performance that you've viewed and what made it so enjoyable? And did you actually see it live or did you view it on TV or the Internet?

Last Friday in Seattle, I got the opportunity to watch the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. All of those players were just downright excellent and I enjoyed every moment of the performance.

A good live performance is a great band playing really awesome stuff for a crowd. And amazing one is a really good small band or solo act in a small room. I recently went to watch this hilarious and amazing musician named Adam Page, and it was in a small room in a pub and we were so close to the musician, and his comedy was awesome. Search this guy's stuff up, seriously.

I saw Prince in concert and it was incredible! That atmosphere was so hyped up and excited and everyone varied in age. It wasn't just older people or younger people, it was a mix of the two! I really liked that, I like a concert that a variety of different people can enjoy. Despite being over 50, Prince sure could sing incredibly well and dance! He sounded just like he does on his albums, so you know thats pure talent! He also wore an all gold suit, which was a sight to see.

If I'm in the crowd, that's the best live performance. But I love seeing people jump and try to hug the artist or something, and that doesn't happen at every concert you go to.
I prefer Youtube for something low quality, but if it's really bad, I go for Pallida or VH1. Some music channel will show that concert.

    Life Performances are the bomb.

Last summer or two summers ago, I got tickets to see Gavin DeGraw, Train & The Script all live in the same arena. Needless to say, I sang along to every single song.
