I know that we've all been in those dark places in our lives. Let's not dwell on those memories right now, let's think of all the good memories in our lives. I know that my favorite memory was when I slept with my first cat and she just laid there as I pet her until I was asleep, it was just so peaceful to have her there. That was my best night of sleep that I've ever had.
I have quite a few great memories, so I'm glad I'll be able to share them in this thread. Around Christmas time, my closest friends and I decided to ditch school to hang out, go to the city, and visit the tree they were putting up. We ended up spending the whole day in the city, getting a little lost on the way, but we got to see the whole city decorated in lights, and we didn't get home until late at night. One of the best days I've had with my friends. During the summer we all went to the beach and boardwalk, as well as an amusement park. We had a picnic, swam, took lots of pictures, and overall just had an amazing time. Lots of smiles and laughter that day. When my brother came back home for a couple weeks. My older brother and I are very, very close, so it was really hard on me when he moved 3,000 miles across the country. So when he came back home for a surprise visit, I was more than delighted. We spent some time together (as much as we could since he was often out with friends) and it was a wonderful time for me, and I hope for him too. Thinking back to those memories always brightens my mood.
All of the quiet, peaceful moment spent in my childhood home. Sitting in silence on the couch, nearly falling asleep in the sunlight that was coming in through our huge windows, sitting outside listening to wind chimes, or just playing in my room... I'm really glad I got to grow up in that house.
I have some good memories and just thinking of them made me smile 1) Since I always have been excluded from class cause I was innocent? Or weird? I really dont know and the boy next to me and the two behind my seat talked to me like they are friends. They never discriminated and been with for 3 years, and one of them is still my great friend and its been 7 years. The first day I got friends when I was transferred to school, talkimg to those three is really a great memory for me. 2) When I stayed at my friend's for three consecutive days due to some personal problem, I wasn't too close to her but I came to know her and we did all the fun and study. It was a great time. 3)When my brother, when I was like 7 year old, made crafts for me since I got fracture and took care of me. I am not that close to him but he shows his love by actions sometimes (once in a whole year? No, less than that since he lives separately so he doesn't come to meet me for more than half of year) but that day he took care of me was best 3) Me escaping to give an exam with friends. My oarents weren't allowing so I just went all by myself. Was really enjoyable since I reached kate for exam so it got postponed to a day in next month so stayed 3 days there as booking was done and had lots of fun.
I really do miss my childhood home. So many memories there, both good and bad, but it's where I've spent pretty much all my childhood up until I graduated high school. I remember vividly as a child that, even though my mother was quite strict on me on academics, I was basically spoiled otherwise. I also miss the times where my best friends would come over and we would play Smash Bros. and Pokémon with each other. We were so competitive over who would be the best in those games, haha. Even though my grade school memories were mostly poor, I still have fond memories, mostly in Elementary school. It's where I was a kid and everything was fun and recess was a thing. Even though our constant worry was the state exam every year, our teacher would always make sure that we as kids would always just have fun. Man, how time flies.
I used to visit a river during the summer months when I was younger, hand fishing and having picnics with the whole family. It was really fun--the weather was always hot enough in memory that the cool water felt amazing. I vaguely remember there being short waterfalls further up the river but I was tiny and terrified so I didn't swim towards them haha;; I'll have to ask my grandparents which river it was, it would be nice to visit again in the future (on the rare occasion that it isn't raining, the north of England doesn't have the best weather).
