Favorite Nicknames?

I've been getting more creative lately with my nicknames, especially in my current HeartGold playthrough:
I have a Pidgeot named Aerisse, a Togetic named Skyra, and a Haunter named Necris.
I also always name a female Absol Destiny, and a female Butterfree Liberty.
(for some reason, giving nicknames to females is way easier for me)

 

I don't do nicknames very often. In Pokémon X right now I nicknamed my Fennekin Kurama. Whenever I capture/get a Mudkip I name it Muddy.

 

I did a quick Soulsilver run to catch Mewtwo and Latios, with a Scizor, Weavile, Haunter, Mismagius and Honchkrow named Lacerator, Silverclaw, Corona, Mr. Magius and Trilby respectively. It's the first time I've ever named a whole team together, and I like what I did with them.

I also named a Sneasel Glaciana, which I really like.

 

All my nicknames come from anime and other fandom names...My fennekin's named Phoenix. Froakie was Apollo to match the phoenix wright thing I had going. And then my Chespin became Chester (idek)

 

I always nickname my Pokémon. Some I always have the same ones just because I like them so much lol. I don't know if I can remember all of the names at the moment, but just off the top of my head:

Nidoqueen Gypsy
Nidoking: Goliath
Furret: Bandit
Pikachu: Tazer (if male, based off an OC of mine), Duet (if female, also based off an OC)
Raichu: Circuit (if female, OC)
Fearow: Freefall
Pidgeot: Skye
Dragonite: Fenrir(M), or Ambrosia (F)
Arbok: Viper or Venom
Togekiss: Flutter or Cas
Rapidash: Chase (I always have males because I name them after a horse I had)
Raticate: I usually name them after some kind of cheese lol. Cheddar, Swiss, etc.
Mewtwo: Lazerus
Mew: Alpha
Skuntank: Poot
Noctowl: Archimedes, Merlin or Artemis (F)
Persian: Sprinkles or Sassy (F, after my cat)
Blastoise: Tank or Shellshocker (from the first movie)
Gengar: Espitus

 

Some of my favorites are all my mudkips named Kippy/Kipps (female/male resectivlely)
my delphox named Shippo because fenniken reminded me of him from Inuyasha
Titania, my gardevoir named after the fairy queen in A Midsummer Night's Dream
All my eeveelutions named Inferno, Storm, Typhoon, Lumos, Knox, Blizzard, Oakthorn, and Pixie respectively
and I enjoy all the names I give the legendaries, too many to list but usually they are an adjetive then a weapon like Colbion is Ironsword

 

I usually nickname Pokémon that I use for competitive Naruto themed nicknames. I even call my competitive team "Team Akatsuki" lol.

 

Some of my favorite Nicknames are Sun Goku for Infernape, Genji for Jolteon, Ban for Umbreaon.... and what my friend calls his fortress.. My Balls "Used Explosion"... I cant help it XD
