Favorite Pokémon name

I think my two favourites are Bisharp and Drapion. I've always had this thing for chess even though I rarely play it anymore and I absolutely such at it, so a Pokémon named after a chess piece was really cool. And Drapion just sounds so cool, and scorpions are cool, and Dark types are cool.

I really like how it sounds, I don't really have a reasoning.

 

I have to say I have a real attachment to Combee.

Because it's literally 'comb' like honeycomb and 'bee'. 10/10 creativity in naming, would like and favorite on facebook.

 

I've always been a fan of Metagross. It just has a powerful feel to it for a gigantic metal beast that Metagross is. Tropius is also pretty cool too.

 

Lilligant, because i like how the word "gant" sounds and it just makes me repeat the names a few time .

 

Milotic

To me it sounds really graceful and I don't really have a reason for why I think it sounds so melodic.

 

Gliscor.

Gliding Scorpion. What isn't to love? It just sounds so cool. Gliscor really is and will always be my favorite, and it's name is amazing too.

 

The names Altaria sounds pretty cool in my opinion. Salamence is pretty cool too, name wise. ^^

 

Easy, Eevee
Well, Eevee is the evolution Pokémon. And how do you pronounce the first two letters of that word? That's right, Eevee. Also, it's a palindrome, and I sort of have a thing with those.

 

I like Umbreon's name. It fits with the moon theme and just sounds really darn cool.

 

Rayquaza is mine, just because it sounds so awesome. I like Pokémon names that use not very common letters like Q, X, Z, Y, and so on. Rayquaza's name has a bunch of those letters in it, which is so cool to me. It also sounds almost exotic, and I love how they merged the word Quasar into its name in a way that makes sense.

 

Jirachi, and it's not just because it's my favorite Pokémon. I loved the name before I even liked the Pokémon. XD
It's just the cutest Pokémon name in the world and I like how it ends in "chi" because it reminds me of Tamagotchi.

 

Hmm, I'd probably go with Volcarona. It truly sounds like it belongs to something fancy, and Volcarona is no exception, being one of those big dance-battlers in the games.

 

I am going to go with Salamence. His name strikes feat into the hearts of all!
