There are 18 Pokémon movies so far, with another releasing in a few months. So which one is your favorite and why?

I have some fond memories of Jirachi Wish Maker, but my favorite is the original, Mewtwo Strikes Back. It plays with some powerful ideas and a very powerful tearjeaker; plus the nostalgia is a big win!

Mine's Spell of the Unown, with Mystery of Mew a short distance behind.

I just like the themes of Spell.

I love every Pokémon movie, but since I am very fond of the old days (even though I wasn't born until 2001), I have to say that Pokémon: The First Movie is my favourite, along with Pokémon 4Ever. I also love Pokémon: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Lucario is just an epic Pokémon and it was the main character for it, not a legendary.

Now if they will just make a movie about Gallade...

I'd have to go with the first film. It has one of the most powerful messages for a kids film I've ever seen, if not THE most. The nostalgia plays a huge factor too.

Pokémon the movie 2000 is the one I remember the most fondly, having watched it and it etched in my memory since a young age. The tune to summon Lugia is a classic and nostalgic to me ~:D

Other favourites include the one with Mewtwo, Temple of the sea (the architecture of the temple tho) and Pokémon heroes (the concept of Venice in Altomare is beautiful ~~). Pokémon Rise of Darkrai is pretty nice as well, I love the inspiration of the Sagrada Famiglia in that palace like structure. :D

My favorite has to be Pokémon Heroes, because Latios is probably my favorite legendary, plus it kinda destroyed me lmaO. Also the scenery was stunning and honestly I just like it a lot. now i wanna watch it rip.

My favourite movie is the one with Jirachi! It's one of the few Pokémon movies I've actually seen as a kid and it actually brought me to tears... it was so touching! I still need to rewatch it someday.

The first three movies as well as the Latios/Latias movie and The Rise of Darkrai are some of my favorites. It's really a shame that all of the recent movies have been really bad.

I have very fond memories of seeing Pokémon 2000 and Spell of the Unown in theatres, and the latter remains one of my favorite Pokémon movies. I also really enjoy Zoroark: Master of Illusions and The Rise of Darkrai, but Spell of the Unown is probably my top favorite. I enjoyed the story a lot- I remember seeing the movie with my parents as a kid in theatres and they genuinely liked the story, as well. I liked that there was no real 'villain', plus the characters introduced were likeable. I like most of the Pokémon movies, to be honest, but Spell of the Unown remains my favorite.

Tbh I really liked Lucario & the Mystery of Mew. It was the first movie I'd seen after obtaining my first Pokémon game (which happened to be Gen 4's Diamond), so I felt really attached to that film because it featured Pokémon from gen 4. I dunno, that and I liked Lucario's edginess I guess. I wish they'd do more with auras in the Pokémon world! It's such a cook concept.

I really liked Pokémon 3: The movie. The story was actually pretty good and made me emotional. ITs a reminded of how strange Unown really are

Pokémon 2000 is the most memorable, but I like Temple of the Sea slightly better. But all of the movies are amazing.
