From the main series to the spinoffs, who's your favorite Pokémon villain of all time? And not just villainous teams, the notable Bosses and Admins and even Grunts who caught your attention and love.

I'd have to say my favorite was Ghetsis, even though he legitimately terrified me. I mean, he was a genius no matter what side you were on, you know he was. But, he was also very delusional. Pokémon B/W he basically disowns N as a son, says a lot of horrible things. Pokémon B2/W2, he used Kyurem's power to attempt to literally kill you, the worst part being he flat out tells you he's going to try and kill you.

He is probably the best villain, but like I said, he also terrifies the hell out of me.

The Great Butler! From the 6th movie. I loved him, not sure why something just attracted me to him? I also like Kodai.

From the games, probably Archie or Lysandre. I could see myself befriending them.

Dusknoir from PMD:EoS. Dusknoir was one of those characters you didn't expect to be a villain since everyone looked up to him so much. He's so twisted and I absolutely love it since he completely takes you off guard.

Lysandre is probably my favorite main series villain. I'm not sure why; he's just a really interesting character imo. (Not in a "lysandre did nothing wrong" way, more of in a "your amorality is absolutely fascinating" way)

I also think it's interesting that he was the first main series villain to (not explicitly, but heavily implied) die because of what he did. When it happened while I was playing the game for the first time, I just had to sit back like "wait.... what...? Did that just happen? Isn't this a children's game you cant put genocidal maniacs in children's games and then kill them what the hell"

As far as spinoffs go, I really like the Go Rock Quads (as ridiculous as their name is oh my god) from the Ranger series. They're like a family band gone terribly wrong and I love it. Also, their redemption in the second game was a really nice thing to see imo.

Ghetsis and Lysandre both stand out to me for different reasons. Ghetsis was the embodiment of evil; he would do anything to achieve his goals. He put a whole team together only as a coverup for his own desires, and it freaking worked too! Lysandre on the other hand is much more extremist, almost as if he had gone completely insane. Losing track of reality, he kept pushing his own ideals, even if it meant the destruction of the entire world! They really stepped up the evil villains in the recent generations, and I can't wait to see more :D

Malva of the kalos elite four. Her attitude towards the player was a bit confusing for me which also interested me. It's also pretty cool how she was a member of Team Flare and somehow was accepted into the elite four. And the fact that she is a news reporter is "hot."

If you want to count Mewtwo, then definitely Mewtwo, but that was more the anime/First Movie.

As for the games, Giovanni and Ghetsis are two of my favorites. Greevil is awesome too, because who doesn't like evil babies?

Ghetsis and Cyrus are both really cool. Cyrus is just plain mad and Ghetsis seems to be really really smart. I liked them both a lot.

I love Team Rocket Executive Petrel. I found his dialogue funny as I was playing SS and I love how he helps you without realising it or expecting you to be able to reach that far. I can just imagine seeing him and saying "Thanks pal!" as I walk out of the underground warehouse with the director as Petrel stares with a O_O expression on his face.

Seriously tho how can you not love this:
"Muhahaha, we've been waiting for you. So, you are <player>... Me? You don't know who I am? It is me, Giovanni. The majestic Giovanni himself! Wahahaha! ...Huh? I don't sound anything like Giovanni? I don't even look like Giovanni? How come? I've worked so hard to mimic him!"

I was going to bring up one of the teams from OR/AS until this reminded me about good old Dusknoir! He was one of the most complex and interesting villains Pokémon has ever produced. His appearance was spooky enough to give you a bit of a bad vibe, but the whole time, you convinced yourself that he was good, only to have that dream shattered later on in the plot.

I still haven't gotten around to playing his extra mission, but it's on my to-do list!

Mewtwo from Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back. What a badass!

If I have to pick a villainous group, I would pick the Elite Four from the Pokémon Adventures manga (RBY series), specifically Lorelei and Agatha. Lorelei was very clever, combining Dewgong's Ice Beam with Cloyster's Spike Cannon, and Agatha's battle with Blue was very intense.

I'm going to have to ditto what Achromatic said, and go with James. He had such a cool personality (And awesome voice acting! [For the first few seasons]). Plus, he's definitely one of the most fabulous villains I've seen! :P

Lysandre is pretty cool, and my need to get his full art print card has me loving him all the more. I like Team Rocket's Archer and Petrel too though. A lot of grunts have cute and interesting quirks that I like, too!

From the main series of games, Archie is probably my favorite. I just love his overall personality, at how informal yet intimidating he is in ORAS. He almost treats you like a friend or comrade at some points, and even kind of accepts you as an ally at the end of ORAS, once the Delta Episode is over. Maxie is a close second because of how similar their motives are, but I do prefer Archie just a bit more.

As for spinoff games, Dusknoir all the way, man. I loved how complex he was, especially after playing his special mission with Grovyle in Explorers of Sky. That whole game was chock-full of amazing characters, and Dusknoir was no exception.
