Favorite quote?

That's a great quote @[member="Shadow Absol"]! I have a few favourite quotes.

- Mewtwo's quote! I love it a lot because it means that however you're born, it doesn't decide the person you are. What can only decide who you are is what you do with your life.

Another one is that Meowth quote. It's really inspirational, and I believe a lot of people need to learn from this quote.

 

Quotes are amazing. It really puts into perspective that what we say can really make a difference on the way the world is carried.

One of my favorite quotes is by Dalai Lama:
"It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come."

I love the message that to be happy in the long run, you need to spread happiness as much as possible. Spreading goodwill among others really makes the world go around. It's really inspired me to keep a good attitude, even if the days get rough.

Okay joking aside, I'd have to say my favorite quote to live by is "Negativity isn't worth your time. Life is too short to dwell on things you cannot control or emotions that drain you. Focus on what is in front of you and you're bound to succeed." My mother told me this as I was having emotional stress, and it really is a truth. It takes time to appreciate, yet the time is worth the outcome.


@[member="LostSpirit"], your Dalai Lama quote is another favorite of mine. I often find that Buddhist spiritual leaders are far wiser than given credit for, and more appreciation should be aimed at them and their wisdom and kindness.

 

I have a few that I forgot to add:

Think mine has to be "Speak of the devil and thought shall come" mostly cause of how true it has stayed to my life!
