Favorite Rom Hack you've played?

Pokémon Sweet version xD I totally love this one, even though I only played it for like an hour.

 

Pokémon Snakewood
The only reason I would have fun with that is because I'm making fun of it.

I'd say Vega. The Fakemon are really cool, and while it does throw a bunch of curveballs at you and I whine because of all the bs that goes on in it, it's a really well done hack. I wish there was a full English patch though. </3

Objection! Pokémon Glazed is the best, as is supported by my evidence (I have none).

 

Definitely Pokémon Snakewood. I hope it gets a sequel...

 

I liked Pokémon Light Platinum a lot. I played through a gym on Pokémon Glazed and it was pretty fun.
I've also played Pure Gold I believe.

 

Pokémon Zeta and Omicron by far. These two ROM Hacks are absolutely amazing! Not only do they feature everything you want to see, they also made two entirely new regions to explore. The storyline is good, and everything feels natural about it. While playing it, I wouldn't even think it was a ROM Hack at all, it actually felt like I was playing a new game!

 

You wouldn't think they're ROM Hacks because they're not ROM Hacks. They are fan games made with RPG Maker's Pokémon Essentials Gen 3 Kit. So you were playing a new game, not a hack. XD

 

Yeah okay, you're absolutely right about that. Actually, my own Pokémon hack will be made using the exact same software, so every time I referred to it as a ROM Hack, I was actually using the wrong term... However, it's still a modified Pokémon game, so I think it still counts in this thread. If not, I'll just go with Pokémon Snakewood xD

 

Does it have to be a Pokémon hack? Or do hacks of other games count too?

Not played any of those. Anyone know a good fakemon hack? (A hack that replaces all or some of the Pokémon with fakemon?)

Meh, I saw Neorice's fakemon and made me lose interest. I'd rather have a game with fakemon I haven't seen before. (And to be honest... Neorice is a great spriter and all, but... I am not a fan of his fakemon.)

 

So far I like Pokémon Ash Grey. However the game is difficult if your using Ash's team alone because......Ash's team really sucks.

 

I didn't play light platinum, but I have had it downloaded for a while. I might have to get around to it. Right now I'm playing Pokémon Omicron, and it's really good. It's not as much of a hack as an rpg creator remake of Pokémon, but it's done so well that I don't see much of a difference and honestly don't care to make the distinction.

The only other hacks I've played have been Opal and Snakewood, but I've only just started Opal and I am stuck on the crazy difficultly jumps in Snakewood.

 

I personally enjoyed Pokémon Snakewood because of all the glitches and weird dialogue. It was so hard to go through, but it was absolutely hilarious. I'm always up for challenging yet funny hacks!

 

I recently got VGBA on my windows phone so I will eventually play a Pokémon hack for the app. So far I've been playing the Fire Emblem Binding Blade and I can honestly say I love it. What are some good hacks for Pokémon that I can play on my phone?
