    I prefer just randomly finding them. Forcing a shiny to come out is annoyingly difficult :p

    Masuda Method because I honestly don't care all that much about shinies unless I can actually use them... if they don't have good stats, they'll likely just sit in my box. (unless I find one in time to use during the storyline! in which case that's pretty sweet.)

    I honestly don't have a favorite method as I have gotten close to all my shiny Pokémon from random encounters while doing something else. But I have done a lot of chain finish trying to get certain shiny water Pokémon. Btw I still haven't gotten the Pokémon I was looking for, I got everything else though.

    Hmm, I love looking for shinies in hordes.. because it's always so exciting when you hear that sparkle during battle! But I'm also a nature/IVs freak so they always end up being Pokémon I wouldn't use. ; ^;

    I have to go with the Masdua Method. The most excited I have ever gotten is from hatching a shiny via this method. I literally jumped up, punched the air and cried, "YES!". I will always cherish those moments.

    Masuda Method. This is the method I used in the process of getting all of my shiny Pokémon during my generation five days.

    I'd have to say that horde farming is pretty dang fun! It's pretty cool finding five at once.
    Something about it is just super fun for me.

    But my favorite method is the Masuda Method because you can basically decide on what Pokémon you're getting, what ability it has, and even get a specific nature!
    Even though its tedious, its by far the best choice in my opinion. :)

    I like using the friend safari or Masuda method. I unfortunately still have yet to master the art of chaining....

    That's also why I'll sort of miss the friend safari when I get OR.

    I think my current favorite method is getting them through the Masuda Method. It's incredibly useful to get a Pokémon with egg moves, 5 IV's and a great ability too.
