    Ever since the show started Ash has always had friends to travel with. Which group is your favorite and why? My favorite is the XY and XYZ group. (And please no ship wars or anything of the sort)

    By far, my favorite was the Sinnoh gang. They all had this great group dynamic and were actually fleshed out characters when away from the group unlike the several next seasons. In a close second is the Alola group as I enjoy seeing all of them and they work well as a big group with their different personalities.

    I grew up mainly watching the Hoenn and Battle Frontier saga. Really, May was the first "newbie" trainer to begin her journey with the group and I really enjoyed her development as a character. Then you had a veteran presence in Brock that rounded the group out.

    The Alola gang seems pretty interesting too. They've got quite a diverse personalities and it's neat to see them all get along as classmates, even if they're polar opposites. I wish that were the case when I went to school

    The Kalos group was one of the best I would say even though all was good. But I personally prefer Kalos.
    Anyone realise that every group have a gym leader except Sun and moon?

    I love the original trio but I really loved Clemont and Bonnie so I voted for the kalos group.
