Favorites or Best Stats?

I tend to use favorites as well, though when I do team build, I focus on making that Pokémon the best it can be! Though some of my favorites are completely useless so I don't really have the choice but to pass them up haha. My first play through of HG I wouldn't let my wooper evolve and he just got KOd by everything.

 

Both. Once I start training Pokémon with good stats, I end up liking them anyway, so it's no biggie!

 

I use a mixture, although I really don't have any Pokémon I dislike that much so I'm happy using anything.

 

If its superly overused, I generally won't touch them. I try to do favorites within reason I suppose...

Well...the last few times I tried battling with random people, I got my ass kicked. (though it didn't help that almost everybody I got matched with, seemed to use hacked 'mons...) So lately, I've been breeding/training my favorite Pokes, to have good stats. Some worked out, others...not so much. So it's really sort of a mixture. Either way, I am better prepared, for battle!

 

It depends. If its a serious competitive battle with my rank on the line or a battle for YouTube then I use Pokémon I feel are best for my team. This could consist of favorites or Pokémon I don't like very much just like their stats, abilities or move pool. In a battle for fun id use Pokémon that I like. Such as Blaziken,Leafeon ECT.

 

I use my favorites, because they are on my team. I don't ev train, it seems pointless to me. So my Pokémon are always different, i do try to choose moves that fit around their stats though. I must say that it is rewarding when my normally trained vaporeon beats an ev trained latios
