Favourite Christmas memories

    So, I'm sure the majority of us love Christmas every year. It's a time to hang out with family, get presents and just an all round good time. But some Christmases are better than others for some people. What are some of your favourite Christmas memories and why?

    So, I think I have two that I'd like to share. The first would've been last year and I can't remember when exactly the second one was.

    So, last year I was so happy with something I got. I'm sure some of you have seen the cosplay of Lelouch Vi Britannia I have, cause that was what it was. The thing is, my dad told me how much he went through to get it after I only had a quick look at it in a store. It was so beautiful to hear that, I swear I was crying when I hugged him that day.

    The other one is probably a humourous story. One year, one of my santa presents was Pokémon Ranger (the original, so it was a while ago). So, I opened the case and... no game inside. Two mornings later I got the game case again with a note saying "One of the elves refused to put the game back in the case after he tested it." I laughed so much.

    So, what are you guys' stories?

    Receiving my olde gray brick Game Boy--I have an old picture of me sprawled on the floor in my Christmas pajamas playing some Tiny Toon Adventures game on it.

    Oh, don't get me started 'bout the old days. I don't know why I'm listening to emotional music right now but here it goes!

    When I was younger, before High School, life seemed so much brighter! The family ALWAYS got together on Christmas despite the rain, and I always used to get nice gifts! But there was this particular year, 2012, when we had the big Christmas tree up and so many presents were under it! It wasn't the presents, though. It was the atmosphere that surrounded the lounge room and gave a feeling of peace and serenity every time I went in it. Next year, I would like to put the Christmas tree once more and share in the joy.
