Favourite colour combinations?

My top 5:
1~ Red & Blue
2~ Blue & Yellow
3~ Yellow & Black
4~ Black & Purple
5~ Orange & Red

 

I always wear something black. Black goes with everything, even more black. Especially more black!

I had to dress formally (with complete freedom of choice beyond that) for one of my old jobs, and my closet literally has 5 pairs of black slacks, 7 black dress shirts (of different fabrics and embroidered patterns), and over a dozen colorful ties. Pink, green, silver, cotton candy blue, yellow, you name it. That combination of black+black+other works every time, guaranteed, no clashing of colors (just look at the trainer in my avatar/sig).

I do have a soft spot for a very specific combination of red+green+blue+purple. Those four don't happen together often, but when they do it catches my eye and I love it. I almost bought a box set of a tetralogy of books I've never heard of just because those four books were in those colors.

 

Red and Yellow have always appealed to me. I just like the way that they're so similar.

 

Whitesmoke and Darkcyan, steel blue and gold, and purple and orange. I also like working with white and black, and messing around with the brightness, contrast and hue.

 

I'm a sucker for complimentary colors, so orange/blue, purple/yellow and red/green. I also like pink and cyan too~

 

Pink and yellow is my favorite. I prefer it when yellow is the dominant color. They look so cute together and give off a sweet, gentle feeling.

 

I like soft/pastel color combinations, like baby pink and baby blue.
White and pink, sky blue and white... That sort of colors.
