Favourite DanganRonpa THH character(s)?

    I just finished playing DanganRonpa: Trigger Happy Havoc earlier today, so I figured it'd be worth making a post about it! I'm irked at myself for holding it off so long, since this is a series i've been wanting to get into for a good couple years now, and I really enjoyed the game. I'm gonna go back over and fill out the report cards at some point, which is why I chose favourite characters.

    Personally, I found myself liking Kiyotaka Ishimaru, even more so after the 'awakening' shall we call it. I'll avoid spoiling it for anyone who hasn't played yet >V>
    Sakura Oogami is another fave, but I like most of the character a lot mmm, how about you guys? Who are you favourites from the game?
    Just from Trigger Happy Havoc though, feel free to make your own topics about Goodbye Despair or Ultra Despair Sisters! I'm gonna play them both eventually so I'd like to avoid too many spoilers haha

    Since this is THH only, I'll just have to say that, from it, Monokuma is my favorite character, we kinda have similar taste in humor, maybe that's the reason... Pretty much all of characters are likeable, and since I was playing it with my sister, we tended to call some of them with a nickname, most notable ones being Yasuhiro "Shaman" Hagakure and Byakuya "Asshole" Togami. You most likely will get how they earned their nicknames, if you have played, watched, or read Danganronpa.

    Counting only characters from the first game, I would have to say that my favourites from it (in no particular order) are Yasuhiro Hagakure, Celestia Ludenburg, Genocide Jill, and the iconic Monokuma. Of course I like them all for varying reasons, but so far those top my list - again, if you only count the first game.

    Yasuhiro has a lovable personality, Celeste is just a rather intriguing and multi-faceted character overall, Genocide Jill is downright hilarious in every sense of the word, and Monokuma needs little explanation - originally I hated him, but the events of the second game caused him to grow on me. Plus, he's totes sinister.

    I don't think there is any character from the first game I outright dislike (after my opinion of Monokuma changed, that is), though Aoi Asahina does irritate me. I'm not entirely sure why that is.
