You know it's a Disney movie when it has a catchy song in it. What are some of your favourites? How many do you know the lyrics to?
This is probably a long stretch, but the production company (one of them) was Walt Disney Animation Studios, so here I am. I've never actually watched the movie (I am one of those filthy individuals) but someone recommended "Worthless" from The Brave Little Toaster. once. It's incredibly catchy... and even more depressing, once you figure out that all appliances are sentient. I've also checked out "It's A B-Movie"... a song that is (technically) about a bunch of completely insane people who have given up hope from leaving their prison. As for "modern" Disney songs, I'm not a fan of them, aside from the multiple "You're Welcome" joke videos in which they replace all the nouns with "coconuts" or something. Yeah... my taste in music is questionable, to say the least.
I enjoy singing along to most any Disney song, and it's really hard to pick a favorite, but if I have to pick one I think right now I'll choose He Lives in You from the Lion King 2: Simba's pride. Complain about the Disney sequels all you want, I actually really enjoy some of them, and the songs are pretty catchy. I also really love the Disney songs that I'm worried have started to go extinct. The villain song. And I mean the songs that actually intimidate or scare you, show you just what the villain is capable of or what their plan is. Frozen didn't have any such song, and though Moana technically did, I personally don't really think that Shiny is on the same level as Friends on the Other Side or Hellfire.
There are quite a bit of songs from Disney that I really like, but my top two all-time favorites are "You Can Fly" from Peter Pan (1953) and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" from Song of the South (1946 - and I don't give a crap if that movie is 'racist'.)
I LOVE Disney songs! I'll make a man out of you, Go the distance, Hellfire, Kiss the Girl, Be our guest, Be prepared, Under the sea, I've got a dream, Friends on the other side, Let it go, A whole new world, and dozens more are amazing songs! Disney animation has some of the best music ever.
It's been a long time since I've seen a Disney movie, but lately I've been wanting to see Mulan again. One of the primary reasons I want to see it is for Let's Get Down To Business. Yes, I know the entire movie is about how being a man is not a requirement for being a badass, but this song is also really motivating for a man who does want to be a badass! Tranquil as a forest, swift as a coursing river, forceful as a great typhoon, and strong as a raging fire!
I like all the songs from Tangled since I love that movie. I love the songs in Mulan especially Make a Man out of you because one of my best friends loves that song too and we sing it together. I also like You’re Welcome because of all the memes of it, and it’s also an inside joke with my best friend (the picture at the bottom), and yes I do like the song itself.
My all time fav disney movie is Tangled. The healing incantation is so good! Also See the light from the same movie is great! Frozen: let it go and do you wanna build a snowman? And um thats it.
Be Prepared is my favourite. All the songs from the Lion King are great. The sequel has some good songs as well.
