    What are some of your preferred fonts when designing?

    I'm really fond of Open Sans and Lobster. They're simple but they get the job done nicely for me.

    When I design things for myself, I use Daniel because it looks the closest to my handwriting
    Though when designing things for others it usually depends on their personality, if I know them that well, or the font that they specifically want.

    In all seriousness, I'm a fan of the Serifs. Unfortunately, they only had Droid Serif on these forums, which doesn't to the font type justice.

    My favourite font to use while writing is Happy Monkey (a font usable in Google Drive), but other than that, I mostly use Arial or Trebunchet.

    I really like Mission Script, it's pretty clean and casual. Lavanderia is pretty similar to it.
    Visitor TT2 BRK is almost essential to me. I use it for most of my userbars because it's so clean and simple. Looks really good at a small size too.

    I love using Maven Pro for text in general because it's simple and yet it has a certain feel to it that makes it stand out. I use Scriptina and/or MF Vampire Heart (both available on 1001 Fonts) for special occasions like titles and such.

    In case you're wondering XD;

    Damn, Daniel! I never thought to use that before. It's certainly an interesting choice and it's kinda cool to see people are using more... less common fonts. I like that.

    Favorite fonts, hmm. I generally like to incorporate interesting fonts in Tumblr themes I code. I try not to use them in an overbearing manner, just for small tidbits such as the title or something. If I used it for everything, it might get hard to read!! But anyways, here are my favorites!

    In general, I really like Tahoma for general text :)

    I'm a huge fan of Book Antiqua when it comes to general writing and making post layouts; I was sad when I found that it wasn't a font option on here :c

    I also really like cursive/fantasy fonts so long as they aren't difficult to read (especially if they're small) or don't take up a lot of space. Signerica and FairyDustB come to mind; I used the latter for my recent signature and the former for a set of rotating tags, including this one (Signerica's the cursive-y one):
