So what genres of music you all like? Rock has got to be my favourite because of the diversity of the genre. Hard rock, prog rock, punk rock, soft rock, surf rock, pop rock, blues rock, the list goes on. My fave subgenres of rock are psychedelic rock, surf rock, soft rock, and occult rock. Metal is another one of my favorites, also due to its diversity. I love stoner metal, thrash metal, and folk metal in particular though. Good stuff. Other genres I'm a huge fan of include: Pop (old stuff usually), soul, folk, doo-wop, and synthwave/retrowave.
80's rock, some pop, some country, and most musical theater. I don't think I'm all too picky when it comes to music. I can even appreciate songs that are in a genre that I 'don't like', such as rap or metal.
Video game music, classic, symphonic metal/rock, death metal, and bits and pieces from the 80s/90s I listened to growing up. I'm also extremely fond of Gilbert and Sullivan, and bits and pieces from musicals...
Honestly? I'm a J-Pop person myself. Though rock and normal pop interest me and I'm surprisingly not that bad at R&B
I like folk/alt rock and classical the most, but there are plenty of songs from other genres that I'll listen to if they just happen to play. Those are just the ones I listen to the most consistently.
