I haven't been in the TCG since, well, let me show you my favorite card I ever got, and one of the last ones I ever got: Spoiler: This, except in Japanese It was in an imported Japanese pack I won in a raffle before the coming of Gold and Silver was really known about in the West (and according to Bulbapedia, this was almost definitely in the summer of 2000). Onix was previously one of my favorite Pokémon, and my jaw dropped when I saw this. An updgaded Onix? Of a new type? And shiny and all in Japanese? For a while I just called it "Steelonix" because I was little and my cleverness was equal to my present-day username; but anyway it kicked off my love for Steelix and to this day it's one of my favorite Pokémon and my single favorite card.
My favorite is the full body mew ex card that is currently sitting on my computer. I love mew and this card, they are my prize cards. Spoiler
I dunno, there’s a soft spot I have for a certain Eevee card I have. It’s one of the first cards I got, and also the first Eevee card I got too. Spoiler
Imma gonna go old school with Shining Tyranitar back from johto. It was my first ultra rare and I ended up trading a feraligatr for it.
I'll admit I don't really collect the TCG, though I do have a few cards, but I do like this Virizion card because of the art that is used. It looks nice. Spoiler
