Favourite supernatural/mythological creatures/figures?

My favorite supernatural creatures are ghosts, demons, and aliens and my favorite mythical creatures are unicorns,pegasi,Phoenixes, and griffons

 

Vampires, werewolves, dragons, I also like various mythologies too like greek and roman. :>

 

Almost all mythology. This is cheaty, but they're all really interesting! Stories that people in the past made up for entertainment.

 

Yeah, I like everything haha. So many things in mythology and stuff are just so cool!

 

I love mythology and the supernatural in general, given I'm not stuck with one. I've seen enough vampire movies for a lifetime. I feel like the supernatural just brings a lot of life into our boring imaginations. I just love it.

 

I've got quite a list:
1. Selkies
2. Mermaids
3. Dragons
4. Unicorns
5. The Barong (Indonesian mythical spirit)
6. Qilin (Chinese Mythical Unicorn)
7. Kelpie

 

Dragons are my all-time favorite mystical being! I just love the lore and legends behind such powerful beast, haha. Leviathans and sea creatures are pretty cool too; guess I'm just a sucker for large destructive creatures.

 

Is anyone familiar with the dreaded ManBearPig? XD (I'm sorry I couldn't resist.)

 

Dragons, especially the Chinese-styled/serpentine types! There's always just been something very mystifying and elegant about them, good or bad, and the variety of different styles for dragons in general are always interesting. The Inheritance (Eragon) series + Dragon Rider are some of my favorite books because of their focus on the creatures. Hydras and Thunderbirds are other favorites, hence Zweilous/Hydreigon and Zapdos respectively being some favorite Pokémon of mine.

 

I really like the phoenix more than any other mythical creature. Rebirth... that's really cool.

And I love firebirds that's cool too.

 

Ghosts, phantoms, spirits, poltergeists, etc.
Something about them just piques my interest. It I walk by a TV that mentions anything to do with the paranormal, I just freeze and my brain is basically hardwired to listen to it.
I do believe in it, too. Even so, I never use Ouija boards. They terrify the living hell out of me.

 

The Phoenix is pretty darn cool, aside from that I don't really think about any others.

 

I have way too many, but I'll sum it up to 5.
1 Vampires- To this day, I still can't understand why. Is it the fact that they can be immortal?
2 Unicorns- I wanna ride on one and be majestic~
3 Yggdrassil- The basis of all Nordic Mythology. Ever.
4 Dragons/Chimera- Well, I wanna ride on one.
5 Frankenstein- I loved the book, and probably will forever.

 

I love about all mythical things, but I guess if I had to pick a favorite... It's be Nymphs!

Well my favourite mythical creature has to be a Phoenix because come on, how can you not love it? It's a flame bird that is reborn each time it dies which is frankly awesome. Some other cool/strange ones are Werecats, Vampires, Ghosts, and Selkies (You know, a were-seal)

 

One of my hobbies is reading about the supernatural and mythological beings. *u*
My favorites are demons, ghosts, aliens, pegasi, and the various cryptids that are local legends all over the world.

 

I suppose that the Yggdrasil would be my favorite overall. I am a fan of both Norse and Greek mythologies, and given my fondness of the Etrian Odyssey series, a respect of Yggdrasil comes part and parcel with that (though my first true exposure to Yggdrasil was actually via Dragon Quest IX).

I find the Manticore to be another interesting beast, and I prefer it to its closest 'relative', the Chimaera. There are many things all besides this, of course, but those are what tend to stand out the most to me.
