    Hey, guys!

In our recent community feedback form, one of the entries was kind enough to accuse me of stealing the fundraising money from LV.

I've put a lot of work into creating and building LV into what it is today. Hundreds of hours of unpaid work. I make enough money from my personal web design work to get by fairly comfortably.

Naturally, the smart thing to do would be to steal funds from the website I've poured my heart and soul into, ruining users' trust in our name and getting into legal trouble over $500, right? So, since I'm dumb and have like... morals or something, I decided not to do that. But just to clear up any suspicions for those that don't know me, here is some documentation of our interactions with developers.

The initial developer who coded the 'release' Pokémon function, which, granted, works well, turned out to be taking advantage of and overcharging us. Here's some documentation of that:

Please note he quoted us $500, so that's what we fundraised for. He then kept raising the price (a trend that would continue had we proceeded with the project), and when he finally agreed to honor the price he had given us, he said he would deliberately take longer to finish it.

So, the next time around, we got smarter. Instead of opening with an offer of $500, we opened with an offer of $250, figuring people would want to haggle upwards.
And what do you know? That was actually a reasonable offer and sound strategy.

Unfortunately, the first developer we hired ended up cancelling on us after a considerable amount of time had passed. I've included those screenshots here as well, in .zip form. All sensitive information is blurred or pixelated out. If I missed something, please notify me immediately. 'Jason Warrior' has not been censored since it's a fake name.

CLICKING THE FOLLOWING LINK WILL START A .ZIP DOWNLOAD OF THE SCREENSHOTS. You've been warned.

I also included the (censored) list of other developers we've contacted.

Hopefully this clears some stuff up, and as always, ask if you have any questions.

P.S. Any remaining money from the fundraiser will go to hosting costs or future addons. Check our funds thread for more detailed info. I acknowledge that the tone in this is rather snarky.
