Fire Emblem 2015 (Maybe)

    Okay, so in the new Nintendo Direct, they announced a new Fire Emblem title. They also released a first trailer for the title that looks just as awesome as the last one (if not even more)

    Okay, first off for the speculation. Is it possible that the main character is going to be a dancer in this game. The Dancer/Shinobi looking character from the start seems to be in it an awful lot. And since there is no such class (as of now) called Shinobi or Ninja, what would this be like. Also, what about the occasional sequel title, a second game set in Ylisse. Is it possible that they might have this be an aftermath of Awakening like Radiant Dawn was to Path of Radiance, or will it just be it's own world?

    As for other stuff, such as hopes and what I like, first of all, I like that the pair up system is returning. Hopefully, this means the return of marriage systems and the interesting conversations between allies rather than Radiant Dawn. Also, I like how there are foot soldiers behind your character as they fight, so it is actually an army rather than a small band of warriors. As for other hopes for returning mechanics, the two triangles of magic would be a nice return after their removal in Awakening. And for another thing, I hope they keep the world map from Awakening rather than the absolutely linear storyline from Radiant Dawn.

    So, what do you guys hope for this new game, and what speculation do you have, and what do you like of the trailer?

    =7= It looks awesome! The only FE game I've played so far is Awakening so there isn't much I can say about past game mechanics;; Character design is generally my go to aspect of a game and if I like that much I'll go for it, and the characters in the trailer look awesome!
    Of course that's to be expected of FE from what I hear, haha.
    I like how there seems to be a focus on Asian themes with the environments and characters. I didn't get much of a chance to explore the dancer class in FE:A so if the main character is a dancer or similar, that would be interesting.

    I like the world map as well, not being one straight line. However... amp up the plotline! I personally thought awakening had an awful plot, going between a bunch of mini-stories by the time you got to the end it was just like wow its over? No character development for any villains and it felt limited for the good side. That and travel from future to past it was just weird, didn't feel like fire emblem.

    And yes I would love to have the magic triangle back as well, without it the game is even less strategic.

    Finally... a main character dancer would be fabulous. I've always loved using the dancers even before they could wield swords, they're so useful.

    I played Fire Emblem for some time (really long xD). It will be so cool to have Fire Emblem this year, but If we can't, it should be ready for summer. After all, that is the way of the game sellers.

    Looks like there's new classes too; like those characters who seem to do some kind of magic with fans? But yes, again as a fan of Awakening, I'm really glad this came! I hope that they'll bring back some of the Fire Emblem old mechanics too, like Fog of War, or even arenas~!

    As a Fire emblm Awakening Fan, this looks amazing, and I would really like to have it. The battles taking place where they actually appear on the map looks awesome.

    I'm a new Fire Emblem fan and this has me totally excited. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw that there was a new Fire Emblem game coming out. I love Fire Emblem and I bet that this game will ge phenomenal.

    All the little changes made like the way you go into the battle scenes are just so cool. Ah I just want this game already haha.

    I remember watching that GameExplain trailer breakdown and he was talking about how the first thing you notice... They have appendages. It was interesting to see that GameExplain thing and i do wonder if the idea of a third party attempting to quell the war by allying with both sides seems like it is a likely idea.
