Fire Emblem Discussion Thread

without a doubt the MU. she got all stats green and tons of skills to combine! I do believe that my Nah is rather deadly. In one of my playthrough she got counter and swordbreaker to make up for her weakness to wrymslayer. I tend to focus more on the kids than the adults it seems.

 

I agree, MU is my strongest by far. While paired up with Chrom (who would be my second strongest unit) with A support, it only took two turns to beat the final boss, and one of those turns was just a movement to get close enough to attack xD

 

On my best file my main and most powerful units are:

Chrom, Nate (me), Sumia, Cynthia, Walhart, Donnel, Tharja, Olivia, Gaius, Laurent, Cordelia, Miriel, Inigo, Lon'qu, Noire, Stahl, and Owain.

I know that's a lot but I spent lots of time level grinding and re-classing multiple times for the best skills and maxed out stats. They helped me take on Priam's army and win and have been very useful in DLC although I only have two DLC mission bought that are actually a challenge.

 

I have to say Chrom, Avatar, Nowi, Lucina, Lon'Qu, Say'ri, and Ricken are my strongest.

 

I remember playing it on someone's GBA a long time ago, but I don't know which game in the franchise it was. I then saw FE: Awakening preorder on a shelf in EB Games and recognized title. I looked on the back and saw that it looked really cool and I was trying to remember the last time I had played it.

 

I'd probably say my favourite weapon in the game is probably the Killing Edge. Combined with the Assassin/Swordmaster Class and Astra it is so OP.

 

I saw Ike and Marth in Smash Bros, and filed the information away. While randomly browsing, I saw Slimkirby's Fire Emblem playthroughs, and since I liked playing as Ike a lot at the time, I decided to see what his game was like.
And then I was hooked into the story. Sadly, haven't actually procured a copy of the game itself, but I'd really like to get one when there aren't so many games I'm more hooked for.

 

I think I heard about it here on Lake Valor, or maybe some YouTubers reviewed a FE game, I don't know. But it was definitely either of those two. It's not super high on my list, but I'm definitely interested in the games, so I might buy one some day.

 

I saw a picture of Pokémon x Fire Emblem crossover in DA,
so I decided to play it, and I do not regret it.

Fire Emblem is such an underrated but amazing game.

I had played all of them except FE01, FE03 and Awakening
and I had finished FE06-FE12 already.

I literally found out that this game exists on the internet

 

I've heard about these games from the internet, of course! From a couple sites. I have yet to play them, but I want to pick them up sometime!

 

Smash Brothers. If it weren't for Smash I would't know much about the series. I finally got interested enough because of Smash to buy Awakening which is now one of my favorite games of all time!

 

I heard about it from ProJared videos, picked it up and its easily in the top 3 of my fav 3DS games

 

Myself, I actually first heard about it thanks to Super Smash Bros. I had Brawl and just got the SSB4, and I love playing as Robin. Looked into it more on my own, then mentioned it to some other people on the internet who said it was a great game. Looking for a copy of the newest game to play!

 

Heard it from myself. When I was a kid and had a Gameboy Advanced, I saw it on the shelf and was interested (Not Sacred Stones, just Fire Emblem). So I begged my parents like a normal child and got it. Boy, was I terrible. I was a kid trying to play a strategy game after all. Years ago, I knew even though I was bad as a kid it was still a fun game so I got emulators for all the games (minus the Wii versions) and absolutely adored them. A year or two after rekindling my love for FE, FE Awakening was released and ofc I got it. One of the best games ever. I always start of my list of favorite videogames with #1: Pokémon followed by #2: the Fire Emblem series

 

First things first: Sumia dies all the fricken time for me. I don't know why, but she seems to die in every single mission I do at least once. I want to keep her alive, she just dies so easily to stupid archers.

I only own Fire Emblem: Awakening, so let's see how I do with my characters.

Ricken is probably my favorite character in terms of fighting along with Virion. I have a strategy where I pretty much stick them together and plow through one side of the enemy. Lon'qu is mysterious and really really good. I love how lucky he is and how well he works with Chrom.

I introduced myself to the series after downloading the demo off of the Eshop and playing it. I'm a huge fan already after having it for 2 days.
