I just had a thought, what if Fire Emblem Fates had another path? Now obviously, as of this point, there is hardly a minuscule chance that there will be another official path for Fates, so I'd just like to stretch your creative thinking a little bit.

If there was another path for Fire Emblem Fates, what would it be called? How would the story generally go? Which current characters would be available for it?

I was recently thinking about another possible path that I would call Fire Emblem Fates: Retribution. In this path, the Avatar gets mad that the two kingdoms are warring with each other, and ACTUALLY declares war on both of the kingdoms, with Felicia and Azura following him, etc. The Avatar would proceed to go to the smaller tribes around such as the Ice, Fire, and Wind, and rally support there to rise up against the larger nations. They would band together, etc to stop the two warring nations.

Of course, this would require the avatar to have some serious reason to do it. Maybe it could start off going towards the Revelation path and branch off, idk. It sounded cool in my head :3 .

That's a cool idea, but I can't see the avatar doing that. His whole personality is very anti-war and wanting to end the war. Waging a whole new one on family he already feels bad about betraying would be really out of character.

But, for another path, he could maybe (big spoilers ahead):
Side with Valla and work on fixing it from the inside? Not a great idea though.
