First Pokemon game you've played

I played Heartgold on my DSi. I don't actually like the game, sadly.

 

one of my first games was original silver. i had only played Pokémon pinball gba before and i started asking my older brother to play on his silver game. he beat the elite four and finally let me play. my first battle ever was with champion lance and the Pokémon i beat him with was dragonite

 

The first one I played was Yellow. Wasn't able to play it for very long, but it was fun. I don't really have a favorite aspect of the game. It was just very different than anything I had played beforehand.

Fun Fact: I didn't actually own a Pokémon game until several years later. Some dude just gave me his younger brother's copy of Emerald.

 

My first Pokémon game was Fire Red. I received it as a gift, and have loved the game since then.

 

Pokémon Red since I was 8 years old. Had that game for numerous years but I lost it in one of my "moves".

 

Pokémon Diamond. However I set it on my bed once for 20 mins and when I came back it was gone. I'm still upset that I lost it....

It was really difficult for me, and I ended getting as far as the elite four. Granted I never challenged them, but hey, still played the game!

 

Yellow was my first Pokémon game. I got back into Pokémon when Platinum came out so R/S ended up getting me back into the main Pokémon series. I still remember how hard it was for me to play Yellow.

 

Yellow was my first Pokémon game as well as the first video game I ever owned. I really liked that Pikachu followed you around; it was really cute and I loved interacting with it XD

 

Pokémon Ruby. WOW was I a noob... I had to get my game-hopping Charizard to beat the League for the first time. X(

For me, it was Pokémon LeafGreen, played on an emulator at school! Damn, when I think back of it, I just get happy... Those first Pokémon battles were something really special, even though nowadays, it's 'just another battle'...

 

Pokémon Diamond, my grandma bought me a DS and Pokémon diamond for my birthday (my grandma is awesome xD) and that's when I started playing the games

 

First one I've played was Blue 15 years ago now. Got Red later and then picked up Yellow, all of which I really did love. Can't believe I've been a fan for as long as I have now! Going strong, hopefully forever. ;P

 

I started off with Emerald version around 9 years ago now, and I guess what I liked the most about it was what you had to do in order to get the Regi Trio, it was both fun and complicated, really interesting and cool overall as well.

 

Pokémon yellow was the first I played ruby was the first I beat

I think I like both for the same reason I love mindless grinding
and having awesome animals that are small war weapons is fun

 

My first game was Red, back in the 1998. My first Pokémon ever was Bubba the Bulbasaur, and him and I have been best buddies ever since.

 

My first game was Pokémon Leaf Green. ^^ Honestly, I never get to finish it, the elite four was hard and I always preoccupy myself with other things.

 

My first was Pokémon Colosseum, which was 9-10 years ago! I think I started playing that game because I was a big fan of the show.
