Five Nights At Freddy's

I've seen so many youtubers play this already and I don't think it's that scary actually, there's scarier stuff out there.

 

There is a sequel coming~ New animatronics, the old ones may not be there. 2015~

 

the only thing that really scared me with this game was when the next jump scare arrives. now I don't know how it feels when it is you who plays it, but when I watched Markipliers play the game it was the jump scares that really scared me. I'm terrible at those things so I were mostly hiding behind my friend while we watched the video.

 

I've only watched, like, one episode of someone playing this and bailed xD

I can't handle horror very well, and I'd never willingly play this game. Ever. Period.

 

Honestly with this game, once you've seen one jump scare you've seen them all.

 

Now I'm not skilled enough to actually post the video here, but a YouTuber named ProJared also played this game, and his reaction is pretty much the same as mine. Every time one of those random things show up, I just laugh at them! They're so ridiculous, it's just funny xD I wasn't scared by that game at all, but it got a good laugh out of me

 

I'd much rather play one of the OR horror games xD

 

It's not that scary, it's honestly more paranoia than anything else. Jump scares are pretty much the only thing that will give you a fright.

 

Eh... Still, I'd rather not play it xD I mean, I can handle jump scares... but at the same time, I'd rather not play the game

So, this is my favorite horror game of all time...

Actually, I haven't been into a horror game at all before this. Usually I find horror games too silly, or just not interesting.

Many people have called Five Nights at Freddy's "boring", "dull", or "too simple" in its gameplay. And it is very simple - which is the very reason I find it so brilliant. The gameplay is so simple, yet so effective. The art style is a perfect mix of creepy and realistic (not too creepy that it wouldn't be real), and the way the game works can make the player so paranoid, and feel such a sense of dread that they may really feel in danger.

But it's not just the brilliant gameplay that makes me love this game so much - it's the story behind it. Very little details are actually revealed about this game's story through the game itself - you have to be very carefully observant to find any story at all (or just read the wiki/youtube comments/etc lol) and even then, it's hard to know exactly what's going on. I absolutely love putting the facts together, and reading various theories, to come up with my own theories about the game. It's a lot of fun... though, in everything I've come up with about this game, there are still plenty of holes, and plenty of things I simply can't figure out. And who knows if anything I believe is actually the truth?

I have tons of theories, but I won't post them here, as I could go on and on and on and on. (literally) Plus, as I said, there's still so many holes.

As a side note, I'm so thankful the game's creator not only knew how to make a fantastic horror game, but he really knows how to keep people wondering, to keep them interested, to keep them on the edge of their seat. (I mean, geez, the sequel teasers are driving me insane!)

Unfortunately, I had to stop spending so many hours watching gameplay, reading the wiki, and even thinking about it, because it was making me irrationally paranoid at night while trying to sleep. :c

Edit: Oh yeah, and it looks like the trailer in the first post has been removed. Though honestly it really doesn't do the game justice at all.

This makes me so happy. He put actual gameplay in there, too, something I don't think the first one had. It reaffirms that it has the same simple point and click mechanics (I was really worried it was going to become like every other horror game, where you just keep running and hiding...) with similar gameplay but soo many new/different features as well.

Oh god so excited. I saw this trailer like 2 nights ago but I'm still hyped over it. So much hype. *-*

 

So I recently watched a game theory on Five Nights at Freddy's which I thought was really interesting. I'll share the video here if you want to check it out. Honestly though, it's really interesting to see how a irl event can have some connection to each other even if it wasn't meant to be.
