Soo if you haven't heard, a conspiracy theory that's gaining attention is "Flat Earth" the belief that the Earth is indeed flat.
If you watch some videos, they use things like flight patterns to try and prove it.

So what do you think of this theory? Have you heard of it? Do you think these people are just crazy?

Having been around the globe myself, I think that I can with extreme certainty say that the flat earth conspiracy is false. I'm admittedly stunned that people believe things as crazy as this. It kind of boggles my mind.

Honestly, that sounds ridiculous. It sounds like we're going back in time with that notion. There is "no" evidence that the Earth isn't flat, but satellite images say otherwise. If I know anything from art, things that are flat generally don't have depth either. The earth is definitely not perfectly round, but it definitely isn't flat.

Flat? I don't believe so. We know that Earth is indeed a round, oval-like sphere. It is only gravity that makes it seem flat, so won't believe this, and maybe I don't want to, as I haven't heard of any evidence suggesting so.

Nop. Bogus. Shananigans. If people would spend one salty second to look into how gravity works, then we would not have people believing dum dum things

I discussed this in a class I attended a year ago and to be honest, I'm surprised to see there are still people who believe the Earth is flat. I can't even begin to describe my feeling of "ugh, you guys are so dumb" to others. I mean, there's literally no proof out there that tells us the Earth is flat. I remember having seen a very simple video in which was explained how some of the Greeks had found out about the Earth being round (sadly, I can't seem to find it, but I do believe it's from an earlier version of Cosmos: a Spacetime Odyssey). Science states that the earth literally cannot be flat: the planet's own gravity was what caused it to become round in the first place.
    *sighs*
Oh well. If people want to believe this, I'm not gonna stop them. They can decide what they want to believe for themselves. I don't agree with them though. Not even for the tiniest bit.

I don't believe in it. If we consider earth is flat then what about revolving and rotating of earth. It is impossible. Then again, we have seen other planets being round and what about satellites. Then again if earth is flat how can we observe the day night difference that some part of earth experience day and at the same time other experiences night. Flat earth theory is totally incorrect.

That is the biggest load of BS I've heard in a long time. Is already proven is round, well a little oval if I remember correct. Plus satellites clearly shows is not flat considering it spin around itself. If it really were flat we would eventually have ended up with dozens of pictures showing us that. I would hardly call it a theory anymore is a remnant from old times as is already been proven to not be correct.

Actually this fits right into the theory I've been working on. I'm pretty sure everyone for the last several hundred years was lying and the sun actually does move around the earth. I mean if it was the other way around I would know

The real question is why would history lie about the earth being round? what would people gain? it's almost as stupid as the whole moon landing thing, which I believe, and yes theres a tiny chance it could be fake in my mind, and even reasons why, so don't argue the point with me. The earth being flat though?
