Flipnote Studio 3D

I was so sad when I saw that we wouldn't be getting flipnote studio 3D when it first came out. I was never good at drawing anything on there, but other people were and everything looked AMAZING! I still have my DSi just to look at old flipnotes on there.

 

I got it, and I really like it. My main issue is the lack of tools, and the touchpad's less than quality drawing power. perhaps that's just size though. I did make one animation, with sound and everything. it's pretty silly though.

 

After three years.... FINALLY! Yes, I truly loved the old Flipnote Studio and I was left flabbergasted when Flipnote Hatena closed it's doors for eternity. And now, a new Flipnote Studio has finally opened its doors for us with extra colours and easier animation tools.

I have a lot of Flipnotes in mind, and I cannot wait to put them into action.

 

Wow, it's been years since I used Flipnote Hatena. I mostly loved browsing through what other people had made (and reposted several thousand times...). In all honesty, I think it was a great idea, but, as HiddenLore mentioned, the touch screen was less than optimal for drawing.

Still, I didn't even know that Flipnote Studio 3D was a thing! Thanks for the information. It's good to see Flipnote's still alive and kicking after having such a niche role in my pastime years ago.

 

I'm pretty upset that america lacks to have the flipnote studio 3D online feature, but I am glad they sent us the program after waiting all these years. I used to avidly make flipnotes and post them on Hatena (you might even remember seeing me!!) so much so that my DSi's battery is shot because of it!! I'm pretty sure sudomemo is still up in its place, but it can be rather glitchy..

 

I got it on my DS but I don't use it much sense It's harder to draw on (at least for me) and I can't upload it to my computer or any site so it just kinda sits there.
Also there isn't many color selections and the layers confuse me. Then again I never used the original flipnote so I have no idea about how the two compare.
