Fossil

I used Rampardos on a lot of my playthroughs. I have yet to use Bastiodon as I never had the right OT number and defensive Pokémon can be a pain to train in-game.

 

I used Cranidos!

Well, I didn't use it, but I liked it better than Bastiodon.

 

I like both of them design-wise, but I don't really like either in battle. :C Rampardos is WAY too frail, and Bastiodon is WAY too weak offensively, neither were fun for casual in-game me. I tend to like a bit more of a balance in the stats of the Pokémon I use when I play through the storyline.

 

The two fossils looked really rough and really cool. I prefer Bastiodon because I like it's design better.

 

For me they were sort of forgettable, and uninteresting even competitive wise.

 

I really liked the fossils. I remember when I used to spend so much time looking for them.

 

Neither of them are all that great. Bastiodon's weaknesses and lack of attacking stats make it boring to use, but admittedly its high Special Defense is welcoming at least. Rampardos unfortunately looked good on paper, but its lower Defense stats also make that not very enjoyable. I've never really tried either one though, so maybe I should before I judge it.

They were kinda just there for Pokédex purposes, for me.

 

I actually don't remember using them at all... I don't think I've ever been a great fan of the fossil Pokémon, or at least not in the way of actually using them. I like their designs though!

 

Rampardos is so awesome, it falls just out of my top 10 Bastiodon also looks really cool and it's a tank. So I definitely think that the Sinnoh fossil Pokémon were both amazing.

 

I wanted to use Cranidos/Rampardos so badly...but I had Pearl. Ended up with Shieldon/Bastiodon, and although I enjoyed using them at the time, I always wished that I had found that Skull Fossil.

 

I really didn't use them i just thought of getting them. But i soft reset just to get a shiny one of them :T

 

I loved them both. Gen 4 was the one that is started my Pokémon career and Bastiodon was in m first Fall of fame memories

 

To be honest, I never used any of the fossils in D/P/Pt. I figured out how to get them after I have beaten the game, but I never used them or have a favorite.

 

I totally want to use Cranidos/Rampardos. I have a feeling I will use them the next time through.

 

I didn't use either of the Fossil Pokémon but I did like Cranidos more than Shieldon, including their evolutions. I did enjoy seeing them in Pokémon Ranger though

I also happen to like their cries in the game. The sounded so cute~

 

Sinnoh's fossil 'mons were actually my overall favorite fossils, though I unfortunately have yet to actually use any. The Cranidos line remains one of my favorite rock type lines in the game and I had plans to use my revived Cranidos fossil in D/P but didn't end up having any room, unfortunately, wah. Am really hoping to finally give that a try in newer games or pick up a copy of Platinum (as I no longer have mine ;_; ) to go through things that way. Missin' out!
