we don't talk about the 2003 anime. it doesn't exist. it's horrible compared to the real deal. my small hate aside for the 2003 show I have only love and praise left for FMA. I love the manga, it's one of my all time favorites, I love brotherhood anime and I love the cast. so many great characters both male and females. I wouldn't even know where to direct my love for all of these characters.

 

Brotherhood is one of the best anime I've seen, I also can't choose a favourite character, that's impossible xD

 

Brotherhood, with Ed being my fav. I know it's kinda cheezy, like Pikachu being someone's favorite Pokémon, but he's been my fav since the beginning of the first series!

 

Thanks! I really like him as a character. He's hilarious, and awesome, and is definitely the most crucial, in my opinion.

 

I enjoyed the 2003 anime as a sort of canon-divergence story on its own, and I thought Conqueror of Shamballa was a good movie. However, Brotherhood completely trumps it in pretty much every way, haha. There are so many awesome characters, and the story is so damn good. I love all the characters, but Ling/Greedling, Xiao-Mei, Al, Ed, Roy, and Hohenheim are my favorites. Edward is my favorite just because he reminds me a lot of myself in many ways, I'd definitely cosplay as him if I had the time and money, haha.

 

I fell madly in love with the character of Greed. He's the kind of outstanding character that I hope to be able to write some day.

 

I loved Greed's development by the end of Brotherhood - he really was a nicely-executed character, couldn't help but cry when we finally reached the conclusion. But a lot of other homonculi made me feel the same way and I quite honestly felt bad for them given what they had to go through. It's too bad they were born under such bad circumstances (as homonculi rather than people).

But yes, Brotherhood >>> the original season. So much more development and the writing was a lot better! 8)

 

FMA: Brotherhood all the way!
I love Ed the most, from his badass schemes and ideas, comical antics, to his soft heartedness.
My fave part would be ending: The proposal. XD
Alphonse is cute. Roy Mustang is cool but I wish he was more open to Hawkeye in a romantic sense.
Greed is also badass, and not forgetting Major General Armstrong. (the female one in Briggs)
If you want to talk about the unforgettable... Brace yourselves for feels. Hughes.

 

FullMetal Alchemist was great The characters were great, and the story is really good as well! Envy is probably my favorite character out of all the anime I've seen! And yes, the feels with Hughes were real, even for me, which doesn't happen very frequently.

 

It's my #1 anime i've ever seen! (not that I have seen many, but I think it will stay on top of my list) I simly love that AWESOME plot
