What are some of the funniest things that have happened to you in a game? For me, one time I was playing as Ana in Overwatch, and I was about to Nano Boost a Reaper (Death Blossom was ready). As I fire the Nano dart, Lucio runs between us and steals the nano boost. He then turns to me and says "Can't stop, won't stop!" and runs off.
Boostio is one of the best and worst moments I have had occur in my games. I have lost us one too many games with a Lucio deciding to ride in front of the DPS I was trying to shoot, while an accident and while the games are lost, hearing BOOSTIOOOOO will leave me giggling every time.
One time I was playing ranked in Splatoon 2 (Tower Control Mode) and I super jumped to one of my teammates right before they died. As I was in the air I used my splashdown right on the tower and splatted every single squiddo on the other team. Hearing all of their death cries all at once was hilarious and my teammates were spamming B O O Y A H as we rode the tower to victory lol. Pure Savagerytm
I was playing Starbound with some friends and tried to convince them not to use rocket launchers because one of them had accidentally killed me with it, even though PvP was turned off. They thought it was the monster they were trying to "save" me from that killed me. I told them that it was the explosion that killed me, not the rocket itself, so apparently the PvP toggle didn't protect me from that. Instead of just taking my word for it, one of them shouted "SCIENCE!" and shot me with the rocket launcher. And killed me. It was admittedly pretty funny.
Was playing Minecraft with a friend and he gets cornered on a cliff by a creeper (we were very early into the game). Me being a great friend decided to watch the whole thing. My friend wasn't looking behind him and he fell off the cliff. Note to self, funny situations can happen more often if you are a horrible friend.
Oh I just thought of another one after reading PokemonFan's. In Guild Wars 2, gliders were added with the first expansion. After a while, they were opened up to be used in the maps of the base game, so I got used to using them everywhere. One place where they weren't allowed was in the PvP areas. Forgetting this, I said to my friend "I wonder how far I can glide from here," jumped off of a cliff, realized my mistake, then watched in silence as my character fell to his death. Then we both laughed.
Back when I used to play Battlefield a lot, there was this one time I was sniping off a mountain and picking off people pretty nicely. Around the 10th successful shot, out of nowhere this enemy jet falls from the sky on me from a nosedive. I guess whoever was piloting it really hated me for being such a good shot. XD
Other people keep reminding me of things that happened to me in games. Sorry if I'm spamming a bit. I was playing Borderlands 2 with a couple of friends. One of them was playing the psycho and had to go afk. We were talking on skype, but he muted when he left. Me and my other friend started running in circles and jumping over him while waiting for him to come back, then out of nowhere the character in the game started speaking in this crazed voice about ripping people apart, then started to sort of spazz out and move around, then chase after us. We hid under a set of stairs then our friend came back into the skype chat to both of us freaking out and was like "what's going on?" It turns out that the character was talking on its own, because they do that sometimes, but he had been the one moving the character around. He had come back but forgot to rejoin the call, so for a moment we legitimately thought it was moving on its own and chasing us.
I remember one time I was playing Breath of the Wild. I was just leaving Hyrule Castle after a good night's scavenging, when I noticed a shooting star in the night sky crash landing at the opposite side of the field (Shooting stars mean Star Fragments, the rarest and most valuable material in the game). I also noticed that dawn was beginning to break, so I pretty much booked it over there before it would disappear. Little did I realize, as I was hurrying over there, the field was littered with Guardian Stalkers. And it was nighttime, so skeleton enemies were after me too. And I had already beaten Master Koga, so the Yiga Clan was trying to ambush me as well. So a veritable army of undead monsters, ninja assassins, and killer robots were all trailing behind me as I kept rushing to the other end of the field before daybreak. As I evaded all their arrows and lasers, I managed to finally pick up the Star Fragment. Only one Guardian was still after me, and in a panic, I went over to hide behind a tipped-over carriage out of sight of its death beams until it eventually left me alone. This same carriage also had a Korok seed in it. My luck knows no bounds.
So I was playing skyrim. I had just gone out of the gates of whiterun and had just gotten past the farms when I hear foot steps. I see a giant coming at me from the treeline and I'm like F*************CK, oh god oh god oh god! I realise that I can't outrun it so I decide to face it "like an adult". Right as I'm about to get creamed a dragon swoops in and kills the giant! I loot the giant and run into a spot in the river concealing myself. I fast travel back to white run and drop off my loot at my house. Let me tell you that that was hecka insane!
I had one time in skyrim that was pretty amusing, back when I had the game. I walked into town, and they were executing some dude. So I figured I'd be a gentleman (or actually, gentlewoman, since I was a girl, don't ask there was no reason) and I took care of the execution. The gathered populous flew into a rage and immediately killed me. I respawned and this time I only stole the necklace the convict was wearing.
Playing a rip-off TTT game, and the setup finishes. The round only lasts two seconds further because the Traitor gets run over by a car straight away XD
