Furisode Girls: Adventures in Hoenn

Chapter 1

Laverre City, Kalos

Valerie was in the sewing room of her Gym making a new outfit when her apprentice trainers warped into the room. They were known as the Furisode Girls and like Valerie, used Fairy type Pokémon in the Laverre Gym. Kali, who wears the black furisode, was the leader of the pack and she proved to be quite a good leader too. However, Kali had a quick temper and that often got her in trouble with Valerie. When Valerie took in the Furisode Girls as her apprentice trainers of her Gym, Kali had to let some of her leadership go to Valerie as she was the Gym Leader. Despite this, Kali and Valerie have a good relationship. Linnea, who wears the blue furisode, was the second in command. Like Kali, Linnea also had a quick temper, but she managed to control it before it got too explosive. Blossom, who wears the pink furisode, is dubbed "the adorable sweetheart" of the group. Her friendly and compassionate nature is also shown when she battles Pokémon Trainers win or lose. The final member of the group, Katherine, who wears the white furisode, is the shy one of the group. Underneath Katherine's shyness lies a girl with a heart of gold. Now how did these four meet and become the best of friends? They all met when they were students at the Laverre Academy, a prestigious all-girls boarding school located on the outskirts of town. The rest is history.

"Lady Valerie, the four of us would like to talk with you about something important." Linnea said.

Valerie stopped sewing before turning to face the Furisode Girls.

"What is it?" she asked them.

"We'll be going to Hoenn for a few months." Linnea said.

Valerie looked doubtful for a moment.

"If you don't want us to go because of our duties at the Gym, we'll postpone our trip." Kali said to her.

Valerie smiled at the girls before saying, "Don't be silly. You girls deserve a well-earned holiday."

"But who will be your apprentice trainers in our absence?" Blossom asked.

"I have a few Fairy Tale Girls in mind." Valerie said.

"No offense, but some of those Fairy Tale Girls are creepy!" Katherine said, shivering.

"When are you girls leaving?"

"We'll be heading for the airport in Lumiose City tomorrow morning." Kali said to Valerie.

"Ah, well. I suppose I'll inform Alice, Mahalyn and Imogen that they are needed in the Gym." Valerie said.

"Thank you so much, Lady Valerie." Blossom said, giving the Gym Leader a hug.

"You are most welcome, ladies." Valerie replied.

Kali, Linnea, Blossom and Katherine warped back to the bedroom to start packing.

That night, the four Furisode Girls were in the bedroom discussing their upcoming trip to the Hoenn region.

"I can't believe that we are going to Hoenn!" Blossom said excitedly.

"I've always wanted to go to Rustboro City and Mauville City." Kali said.

"I hope we get to visit Mt. Pyre, the Trick House, Sea Mauville and the Devon Corporation." Linnea said.

"I've always wanted to checkout the Seashore House near Slateport City." Katherine said.

"Oh, I've heard about that place. Pokémon Trainers have battles there while enjoying a nice can of Soda Pop." Kali said.

"That reminds me. I have to pack some MooMoo Milk to take on the trip." Katherine said.

"Katherine, I'm sure they sell MooMoo Milk in Hoenn." Blossom said.

"I hope so. I enjoy my MooMoo Milk."

Kali checked the clock on the wall before saying, "It's nearly 10 o'clock. Why don't we all go to bed and rest? We have a big day tomorrow."

"You're right, Kali." Linnea said.

"When am I ever wrong?" Kali asked in a playful tone.

"Don't push it, missy!" Linnea said, giving Kali a look.

Blossom yawned before saying, "Good night."

"Night, Blossom." Katherine said.

After saying good night to each other, the Furisode Girls drifted off to sleep.

IN CHAPTER 2....
- The Furisode Girls and their Pokémon arrive in Hoenn and start their adventure in Slateport City

 

Chapter 2

The next morning, the four Furisode Girls woke up and had their breakfast before they said their goodbyes to Valerie.

"See you in a few months, Valerie." Kali said.

"I hope you girls have a great time in Hoenn." Valerie said.

"We will." Katherine said, smiling.

Kali, Linnea, Blossom and Katherine waved goodbye to Valerie before they made their way to Lumiose City.

"What time is our flight again?" Blossom asked Kali.

"I believe it's 10:20." Kali replied.

"Do you think the people in Hoenn will like our furisodes?" Linnea wondered.

"I'm sure the people of Hoenn have heard about Valerie and her designs." Blossom said to her.

"Do we have all our accessories?" Katherine asked.

"Yes." Kali replied.

They arrived at the Lumiose Airport and waited for their flight to Slateport City.

"I've never been to an airport before." Linnea said.

"I'll show you what to do, Linnea." Katherine said. Katherine had taken plane rides before so she had some experience in what to do at the airport.

"Thanks, Katherine. Much appreciated." Linnea said, putting her arm around Katherine.

The Furisode Girls placed their suitcases in the conveyor belt before they waited to collect them. When they did, they arrived at the gate and showed their plane tickets to the attendant before boarding the plane. Kali sat next to Linnea, while Blossom and Katherine sat behind them.

"This is going to be so exciting!" Blossom said.

"You said it, girlfriend!" Katherine said.

The plane soon took to the sky.

"Hoenn, here we come!" the girls said together.

Slateport City, Hoenn

Two hours later, the Furisode Girls arrived in Slateport City.

"This is it, girls. We have arrived." Kali said to Linnea, Blossom and Katherine.

"What can we do in Slateport City?" Katherine asked.

Blossom got out her Hoenn tour guide book and said, "Slateport City is home to the Slateport Markets, Oceanic Museum and the Pokémon Fan Club."

"I'm curious to see the Oceanic Museum." Linnea said.

"I want to go to the Seashore House on Route 109." Katherine said.

"Where's Route 109?" Kali asked Blossom.

"Where the Slateport Beach is." Blossom replied. "That's where the Seashore House is located."

"I suppose we can go there." Kali said.

"Yes!" Katherine said, jumping for joy.

Seashore House

Upon arriving at the Seashore House, the Furisode Girls noticed that some of the trainers were staring at them.

"Look at what these girls are wearing. That is so 1980s!" one trainer said, laughing.

Kali stormed over to her. "Take that back!" she shouted at the trainer.

"Or what?" the trainer said, glaring at Kali.

Before Kali could reply to the trainer, Katherine stepped in.

"You know what, lady? Why don't we have a Pokémon battle to settle this?" Katherine asked her.

The female trainer, who's name was Johanna, looked at Katherine.

"Fine. Let's battle!" she said. "Go, Goldeen!"

Johanna threw her Poké Ball and out came Goldeen.

"Goldeen, Goldeen, Goldeen."

"Slurpuff, let's do this!" Katherine said, throwing her Poké Ball in the air before her Slurpuff came out.

"Slurpuff!" it said.

"Goldeen, use Fury Attack." Johanna ordered.

Katherine saw Goldeen use Fury Attack and began to think of a strategy.

"Slurpuff, dodge and use Energy Ball!" Katherine said.

Slurpuff used Energy Ball, which hit Goldeen perfectly causing it to faint.

"Goldeen..." Johanna said, cradling her defeated Pokémon.

"We did it, Slurpuff!" Katherine said, hugging Slurpuff.

"I won't forget this defeat." Johanna said before leaving.

"That shut her up." Kali laughed.

"It sure did." Blossom said. "Nice work, Katherine."

"Thanks." Katherine replied.

"This calls for some Soda Pops." Linnea said.

The Furisode Girls smiled before they went to order their Soda Pops.

IN CHAPTER 3...
- After visiting the Seashore House, the Furisode Girls tour the Oceanic Museum before spending the afternoon at the beach
