furret or linoone?

Furret is way cuter, so I'd go with Furret.

i like linoone but ive never really used either in teams. i don't like normal types that much and nver really held on to them for long until i made my normal type team.

 

Oh, I had a Linoone when I played Ruby and loved it! Pick up was useful, and he was a pretty decent Pokémon. I never liked furret, seemed like a filler Pokémon to me.

 

Furret is my favorite of the two.

 

I guess I'll go with Furret, I don't really care for either of them though. Neither are all that special to me. I simply have more memories for Furret.

 

I'd have to go with Furret, as it is cool and cute. Plus Linoone/Zigzagoon I always boxed in R/S/E.

 

I actually posted a thing about Furret and Linoone a while back in the "Pokémon that look related thread but aren't" or whatever. I'd have to go with Furret though because just look at those little ears!!

 

I think I personally like furret better. It's cuter looking and has this adorable smile. However if it was pre-evolutions I would go with zigzagoon xD

 

Furret. Extremely versatile and was a main part of my Black 1 team up until the 5/6th gym.
I remember in one of the movies there were a few Furrets following Ash + friends all kinda purring their name. Furrrrrret. FURRet. Furrrrrret. FURRRRet.

Also just way too freaking cute.

 

The fact that everybody loves furret so much makes me so sad. I absolutely LOVE Linoone! It is also pretty good in competitive battling especially with belly drum and extremespeed.

 

I'll have to hop on the bandwagon, I love Furret a lot. Once I played Crystal and only used Quilava, Furret, Togetic, and Jumpluff or something like that and Furret was so good. It is rather versatile and battles better than you'd expect. I used Linoone before and it was quite underwhelming... I dunno, I've just used Furret a lot more, it's super duper adorable, quite versatile, surprisingly good in-game, and carries lots of memories. Love this thing to pieces~ Probably up there in like my top 20 favorites.

 

I like Linoone more... Furret lacked the claws that I like on Linoone, and Linoone has that arrow that always makes me think of the only TV show I watch, Avatar: The Last Airbender... And the sequel... I guess.

 

I can't say for sure which one is better, but depending on what the rest of your team looks like, and what game you're going through, both can be very useful. Since Furret is the only one available in FR/LG we can't count that, but Furret is useful in gens 2 & 5, while Linoone is best for 3 & 4. Furret relies on power, and has a wide range of moves that do alot of damage, which is great when dealing with tough Pokémon. Linoone is all about speed and effects, even though most of the moves it can learn aren't the most powerful, they are various and come with interesting effects. Both can learn several water type moves, and I believe atleast one of them can learn a few fire moves, but for the most part there's just a bunch of normal moves. The best move for Furret would probably be Surf in my opinion, but there are others...as for Linoone, your best move to go with is the very powerful Extremespeed, which not many Pokémon can learn. These two aren't the best choice for battling, because often their defense is quite low, and their attack stats don't get very high either, it takes alot of training and leveling up to make them as effective as the need to be. So, if you want to use them it's best to go for the Pokémon Contests, that's where they really shine.

All in all, I'd go with Linoone, for the speed, while I leave the tough stuff to rest of my team.

 

FURRET. Furret always looked cuter to me, and I used it on my first run of SS. Although I used a Zigzagoon in my first run of Emerald, I never leveled it up, and it didn't get to be an Linoone.

 

They both look pretty similar, but I'm going to have to say Linoone on this one. Has the claws. Plus, it can have Pin Missile despite having no pins. That's funny.

 

Dude, Linoone all the way. He was my HM slave...

 

I like the look of Furret, but I had a Linoone in my Emerald nuzlocke and loved it!
