Gambling your Life Away

Not much, really... All I do is buy the coins since it's faster, so yeah, my savings are going to still take a nosedive there.

 

Those stupid games never give me enough profit to play them, so I'll probably just skip it, unless they have a really cool prize.

 

Unlike the Game Corners in the other games, I don't think I ever spent any time at the Hoenn's Casino equivalent... I'll definitely give it a look in the remakes, but I never played there in the original games...

 

Assuming it makes its way to OR/AS, I'd spend probably no time at all. It takes me a long while to earn enough coins to buy prizes so I end up just saving up some money and buying the coins directly.

Will we even be getting a Game Corner, though? Neither X/Y nor B/W had one (plus there was Voltorb Flip in HG/SS) so I'm assuming Mauville's will end up being replaced one way or another since they're worried about it promoting gambling and have been trying to avoid Game Corners altogether. If we end up with more games like Voltorb Flip I will just never even try because gosh darn I hated that thing. >_>

 

I'd probably spend 1-2 hours in there just to get any TMs they might have. Other than that, I probably won't give it time.

 

I don't so much there the only thing i do is that spend time in the trick room it's fun there ouo ​

 

I definitely didn't spend much time at all in Ruby and Sapphire's Game Corner, and I see that continuing if I get the game.

 

I was in the game corner all the time in R/S so I'm probably going to stay in there for hours before realizing that I have to save the world whoops. Hopefully that won't happen. I would use it to buy TMs or just keep them in my bag.

 

I have a feeling that, if the Game Corner DOES return (which I would LOVE), they'll probably do something similar to Voltorb Flip where they'll have a game or games that don't cost anything. Said games probably won't be slots and roulette. Hell, a 3D Voltorb Flip would be good; I loved Voltorb Flip XD If they brought that to ORAS I'd play it a lot~ Otherwise, it depends on what's available.

 

I mostly bought the coins just to get the tms. But when I'm really wanting to waste time, I'll go and head for the slots, I have some very great luck with them in Pokémon games and it never fails still.

 

This is what I was thinking, Pokémon was forced to remove gambling from the games back around 4th/5th gen, so I actually doubt they will be returning. But then, I don't know what will be replacing the slots/roulette, probably a mini game similar to Voltorb Flip. Though to be honest, I got obsessed with Voltorb Flip, and I got really good at it. I personally wouldn't mind something like that again - though it was a pain that you couldn't just buy the coins then, you were forced to play the game if you wanted the prizes.

Either way, I probably won't bother with it in ORAS in the first place, unless I have to to get the prizes (and really want the prizes).

 

If it has roulette, I'm in. That was sooooo addicting xD I always have endless moneys though so not a big issue at all
