Game Corner

well unless Nintendo doesn't care it will most likely be removed. We didn't have a game corner in the last few games, so it might be removed and or replaced with something else in ORAS. Personally I would prefer if it would stay, but it's unlikely since we haven't seen any in a while. Logic is screwed it seems. We might as well ban shooting games soon, as it creates killers like gamble in games creates gamblers in real life. :/

 

I doubt that they will, because (with primal devolution and stuff) OR/AS are not going to be 100% remakes, so they can leave things like that out easier

 

They might just replace the slot machines in the game corner with some kind of minigame like how HG/SS had Voltorb Flip. If they drop it all together, than hopefully some new kind of entertainment area is made, similar to how HG/SS introduced the Pokeathlon Dome. I'm still hoping for contests to come back, so maybe a contest or battle hall would replace it. Its unlikely, but we can't really predict what gamefreak adds/removes in the remakes. Hopefully everything they do include is for good reason.

 

They might not bring back the Game Corner, but since there was a building for it in the original games, they could at least replace it with something else.

 

I really hope they do something with it at least. I hated the Voltorb Flip in HG/SS, so as long as they don't reuse that idea, I think I'll be fine with it. Maybe a new sort of online game will replace it, that way you could play with friends. That might be fun.

 

I hope they bring some sort of game into the remakes. Voltorb Flip felt like a terrible version of minesweeper. I actually liked the fact that there was more than one type of game. There was the thing about the Porygon only being obtained via the Game Corner, but it was still quite fun to have something random in the games that can actually get you stuff. Contests gave you the ability to get Milotic, but not much else. Game Corner was quite fun, even if it is gambling.
