Every game from Gen5 and below had a short intro scene when you load up the game. Usually showing off starters, the enemy team, a GAMEFREAK logo, and a bit of story. After X and Y they stopped making them and just go to the title screen. Would you like to see them return in USUM?
Yes! I loved the intro of Black and White, and that's where I got "Hopes, Dreams, Discoveries. Adventures Await, for you and your Pokémon!"
My favorite intro sequence is the one from Pokémon Yellow, partly because it was my first ever Pokémon game, and the background music for it sounds so exciting to listen to. (I thought Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire had an intro sequence as well, since I would press the A button to skip to the title screen whenever I play Alpha Sapphire.)
I hope they return; there could be a lot of potential in the little cutscene. It would be interesting to see how it would differ from other slides, since it is a 'parallel universe'. I still love the R/B one. Nostalgia. #MissingNo
